Here's some leaks information about Wriothesley, spoiler alert: He's rumored to be on standard after his initial banner. He's a cryo catalyst dps, not as good as Ayaka tho. He's still deep in beta so he's very much subject to change, but so far, Neuvilette is looking like the superior dps out of the 2.

Yelan is generally better but not really necessary if you have Xingqiu. The only top team with both Xingqiu , and Yelan is Hu Tao team. I would just go for character that I want more Lyney might even be stronger because it all depends on what Hoyo puts in abyss anyway, they can put those water bosses, and then mono pyro will be OP.

I got Yelan at 52 pity opening day. I've won my last 7 50/50s (twice in the same 10 pull for Eula as a new player). It's only a matter of time before I get skunked, but I'm so glad I got this. I've been playing since March and I still don't have Xingqiu. Now pulling on Yelan's banner has topped me off with enough glitter to get him from the shop next month.

In my opinion, since Lyney is new, I don't know yet the full potential of Lyney. Plus the feedback of some people regarding Lyney, others might pull for Yelan instead. Since people already know that Yelan is a really good, flexible character. So trying to make Lyney, a new character that people are experimenting/ figuring out, compete with a figured-out, very good character which is Yelan, it's kinda hard. Personally, I'm pulling for Yelan because I don't have her and Lyney will probably have a rerun in the near future.

Yeah that title is pretty true😭 In my perception, it’s only Genshin old players looking for something new or the whales going for Lyney. I’m F2P, and was looking to replace Xingqiu so I pulled for Yelan, and given a previously lost 50/50, first 5* on that banner was her. My non-F2P friend got Lyney instead, and my other friend is getting Childe. Though I will say his trial was fun and so is his design, I really wanted him, but you can imagine my f2p horror when I realised I’d have to build an entire new team. Also saving for Wriothesley, as his design is amazing and he’s basically a 5* cryo Heizou and I’ve always wanted Heizou

Im hands down pulling for Lyney, and without Lyney my Lynette cannot do anything without him as she is super shy and not confident to talk, only she can count on her brother and to make the magic show a successful!! Yelan of course her 3rd rerun, is very suitable and best hydro unit for f2p players. She is very useful and easier to use, especially her e skill can wrap around enemies, dealing AOE hydro damage. Even though she's is an bow character, players like me always aim the shot everywhere but not the target, so is very hard to control especially fast enemies that can catch up their area. Yoimiya and Yelan are greatful for f2p because their skill, burst can support their auto attack😊😊, therefore making it super great for f2p!! Edit: Trying to save for Forcalors because we need all the archons of every nation to unleash their region power!!
