We recently stopped by to see our good friends Doug and Adam Pray at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. in Broken Arrow, OK. They ALWAYS have a shop full of amazing cars. When it comes to Auburns, Cords, and Duesenbergs, This is the place to be!
They always have a shop full of amazing projects. This time when I stopped by, they had a LOT of Cords in the shop!! I've never seen this many Cords in one place before!!! It was nuts! They have serveral project cars in stock, several cars they were working on and a few that were about ready to head back to the owners!!!! This place is awesome and I always love stopping by to see what they have going on! Let's for a walk and check these things out!!!
Be sure to check out the full playlist on the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. on the channel as well. These guys do awesome work on some of the most amazing cars that were ever produced!!!!!
The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. is THE place to go for Auburn Cord Duesenberg parts, repairs, or even full restorations!! They have the parts, the knowledge, the skills, and the Documentation to make sure the repairs and restorations on these amazing vehicles are done correctly!
Doug has turned the reigns of the factory over to his son Adam, so the third generation of Pray is now running the company! With 60+The years under their belts with the Pray family at the helm, the future is bright for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co.! Just give them a call if you have any questions at 918-251-3161

I grew up with my Pops Cord in the garage until he sold it in the 1990's. His was the 1937 Supercharged Lycoming 812 V-8 Phaeton convertible.

In the late 1960s you couldn't give these cars away except for a tiny niche market. They sat in barns, fields---just moldering away. Thank God for cookie-cutter cars and 3-D manufacturing that pushed people to want something other than what was thrown at them and had the moxie to restore these gems.

Some cars were made years before their time. But, was there a car made decades before their time like the Cords were? One of the first models I built as a kid was a Cord convertible. I painted it yellow with a red interior. Still love that combination.

Didn't the Cord inspire Citroen to design the Traction Avant in 1934?

Nice content on old cars nobody ever sees. Unfortunately most young people are not into cars they didn’t grow up with. These cars are a lost art. Car collections and car museums are being sold off as the owners age and die.
