assuming it’s resistance in the “fluid” sooo would be safe for an “oil” level on preheat tank (yeah, north dakota cold winter). If a steel tank, common could be grounded to tank & the upper level “probe” could be insulated / isolated to tank (no continuity) but open to oil level thus being an upper limit? watched again… 5v - eh gotta be a better solution for a preheat oil pot

Not sure how well it works on oils but it does work on other chemicals and liquids . Ill try it sometime on oil and diesel

@@NOBOX7I would assume 5v would never be enough to light even if fumes. I use a diesel heater in my oil preheat pot (slobber pot) prior to a siphon nozzle based off yours I watched years ago

@@darrenlucke I dont think Diesel fumes will ignite even with a spark . it wont burn with direct flame in some cases LOL

@@NOBOX7 yeah, that’s what I meant… I’d think it’s safer than safe. gas won’t light a match even lol gas fumes tho… 😎

I am confused about the spark plug statement.... I usually find things like this do work. It's just something we don't understand from the instructions... those china men are quite smart... Except when it comes to instuctions
