When getting that Remedy product make sure ur getting it from the right retailer because their is a Chinese scam that is going on where they made a site took the pics and everything from the real site and are selling a fake product. The product is spelled wrong when they send it .

I am enjoying Remedy for Dark Spots so much! My skin definitely look brighter, and 3 dark spots have been fading amazingly well 😊 I use Tretinoin and Remedy for Sun Spots 3 times on alternating nights. Thank you for the video!

I make such a mess I have to do everything in the shower. I used to use the Clarisonic but alas no more. Now I use a konjac sponge which I can only get from Honest Beauty. Konjac sponges are scarce now.

Totally agree about the ridiculously small amount of product the labels recommend to apply...like the pea size amount. I also have serums that recommend applying 2-3 drops to palms and apply to face and neck. Are you kidding me?? No way I can get enough coverage like that, lol.

I just love your videos. I’m new to really getting into skincare and out of all the “experts” out there on KZbin, you’re leaps and bounds the best and most entertaining! I also LOVE that you highlight fragrance free and cruelty free products - as that’s what I’m always looking for. As an aside…my grandma E made the BEST lefse! She was from Norway and I always loved visiting her because I knew I would get to have some lefse!! I miss it (and her!) to this day!

My dog does that panting too so I’m so used to it-downt distract me, makes me feel right at home. 😂In the summer my dog loves when I give him an ice cube; it cools him right down. He was panting crazy when it was 90 here the other day even though he had fresh, cool water .

I did do a swap, right before Covid started. Crazy but that was four years ago but it seems almost like it was yesterday and in some ways it feels like it was a decade ago. My poor package took over five months to get there- it took so long I had already mailed another box with all the same stuff! I would do it again because I have a feeling the long shipping time was just a fluke. I was thinking it got lost but it eventually made it's way there.

So, of course I'm going to make this complicated... I really like using the NIOD Mist in my morning routine, especially if I am going to be outside a lot. I like the NIOD because it protects skin from pollution and free radical damage. I really like the Ghost Democracy one in my evening routine because of the hydration and peptides it contains. I think the Ghost Democracy might be too hydrating to use over makeup, but the NIOD is not. Both are absolutely wonderful so you cannot go wrong with either but these are the advantages of each.

I have the same issue- my face gets tacky and pretty much stays that way until I rinse it off. I sleep on my back so it doesn't bother me, but if I slept on my side I think it would be more annoying.

The last few years I've really tried to focus on exercise and eating a bit more healthy. The biggest reason is for my back. I was born with scoliosis and a version of spina bifida, and osteoporosis. Those issues and a car accident later, my back (two herniated discs) was giving me constant pain. Since January of 2023 I joined a gym and cut out drinking pop. I used to be able to run marathons before my car accident but probably will never be able to do that again. That being said, over the last two years I've lost about 50 pounds and my back pain has gotten so much better thankfully. The biggest change is cutting back on calories and walking about three miles a day. I also try to lift weights a couple days a week to help with my bone mass. Cameraman's family has diabetes (his brother has it and his dad died from complications from it) so cutting out sugar for him is hopefully going to help him live longer than his dad. His dad died when Cameraman was 20. Anyway - more details than you probably want to know but I think it is important to try to be as healthy as we can so we don't end up suffering or dying too young.

Ghost Democracy, that's a brand I've never heard of! The ingredients in that mist really appeal to me. Oh, and that "pea sized amount" has NEVER worked for me, I thought it was just me!

They have a handful of goodies that I really like and their mist is fabulous! Their Transparent Cleanser is quite nice as well as their Cocoon Face Cream- a nice indie brand worth checking out.

Hi Sarah, what's the difference between the im from toner and the haruharu frangrance free toner? Haruharu is half the price of im from. Also, could u do a versus between all the rice toners?

The I'm From is a bit more hydrating in my opinion. I really find the Haruharu toner to be a nice option in my morning routine because once it sets it doesn't leave skin feeling greasy or shiny looking. The I'm From is a nice one at night because it is on the hydrating side. Definitely will do a versus of all the rice toners, I hope to have it done this weekend!

That is one of the reasons I love the Snail Peptide Eye Cream, perfect for anywhere you want to apply it. My eyelids tend to get dry (especially during winter) so eyelids are just fine to apply it there.

Did I miss the Altreno in there or did you not use it? Was considering the Remedy for dark spots but it’s hot retinol, not sure how that will play with my Altreno.

I will have to see how those two products play together. The Remedy has 0.1% encapsulated retinol- it might end up being too much for sensitive skin. I have yet to use them together but I'll have to give it a try, maybe if I layer a hydrating product in between the two it might help? Will have to report back!

@@NOBSBeauty I thought you might find this helpful in case you hadn’t already seen that they address using the two together in FAQs. It says to use on alternating nights and of course, like with every product else, says to check with your dermatologist. Did you stop using Altreno totally while you’re testing Remedy or are you alternating days? i’d like to alternate days but I just ramped up to.05 Altreno so I figured I better give my skin four weeks or so to see how I do before adding in a ton of actives in that product even though I really want to start it now.

The Remedy does have retinol (which was mentioned below) but yes, I am on a three day rotation so the next day I will use my Altreno Tretinoin. I like to do exfoliants one night, tretinoin the next night, then azelaic acid the next day.

I think he has been slighly upset with us. Pretty much every night Lincoln and Ike go with me to my dad's house. I go over every night and make him dinner and help with stuff around the house. Ike and Lincoln love going there every night but with Ike's shoulder injury I wanted him to take a couple days off, and Ike was not happy about it. So by the time I get home he's all wrapped up in a tantrum and howling at the top of his lungs. Not sure what to do, he's going to have to get used to wearing his brace more often, that's the only solution but of course, he hates wearing it... the drama is real, lol!

You are right about the Ceramiaid- I should be applying it right away before the actives have a chance to absorb- will have to pay more attention to that. Really enjoying the Remedy for Dark Spots so far- I think what I really like about it is that the formula is so original. So many products out there have a nearly identical dupe and Remedy is one that is pretty unique and I love the combination of actives they use!

Thank you so much for your kind comment! Your grandma sounds so much like mine! My dad always talks about all the food she would make growing up (they didn't have much money so she was always creating amazing things on a budget). I always loved Thanksgiving because she was such a great cook. Time goes so fast. One of these days I think I want to **try** to make homemade lefse!
