@@ChronoMune He also said that Final Fantasy IX had his favorite soundtrack of any Final Fantasy game. He is an excellent composer (one of the best I know of), but that statement makes me question his sanity. Final Fantasy IX's music was great, but not even close to the best.
@tsuirorankami5243 Жыл бұрын
@@ChronoMuneas a fellow musician and trained composer, I gotta agree with him there. Sure, in the FF ost he composed probably all its best standalone tracks, as Theme of Love, Dancing mad, Zanakard or Liberi Fatali (and of course One-Winged Angel) but overall in Fantasian I think he kept the very same level of melodical quality throughout the WHOLE ost, which is unusual from Nobuo that often rather composed a few GREAT songs, and then the rest was good but very simple. In Fantasian he experimented with harmony and melodies in more occasions, but most of all with the arrangement. I found the fantasian ost to be the one in which he had more fun experimenting with a lot of genres. And he did great. I also love the fact that the arrangement aren’t our typical giant epic orchestra, like in FF, but he managed to do a lot with fewer and colder/electronic/virtual instruments.
