in islam, to treat ur guest as best as u could is a must. that's why most of Malay and Malaysians generally will treat tourists as best as they could. 1 of most words, when the guest leaves the house, is "jangan malu datang lagi" mean "don't be shy to come again" which u can hear in kampung (rural area). can be heard at the end of ur video said by the old lady. u guys are so lucky to meet Aida's family because they all treated u guys like their on sons and their family member. hope they will invite u all to stay at their house on eid's eve so u guys can see how we all prepare for hari raya night before and at morning on eid. That might be one of the reason i guess? But some people are just kind and friendly. When I travelled in Japan by bicycle, so many people treated me like I were one of their family. I slept 1 month in different house (all were stranger before), they provide me food, place to sleep, spent time with them everywhere, and additionally great sum of cash too. The 'frog egg' is actually the basil seed. Almost similir as chia seed in texture and taste but much cheaper. In bahasa Melayu, it's called as biji selasih.

You guys are very lucky. Harum manis (type of mango) are largely grown in Perlis state. You cannot easily find them in KL, plus harum manis are only harvested once a year; that is why it is more expensive.

@@keiiee5566 To my personal opinion, when the "nasi-ambeng" was invented, it was another carry over of the same idea of nasi-rames/campur, the main idea was simply getting alot of food on one big plater to gather the community and as many people as possible, to minimize dishes and the cleaning after in mind.. I don't think the noodles was even that popular back then, and was accepted as an extra add-ons at a later date similar to noodles in "nasi-rames".
