Tamura Senseï's genius was not to try to demonstrate who was the stronger. He was only using his immense technique to transmit a faithful image of what O 'SEnseï had transmitted to him. His greatest strength lay in his humanity and humility although his nickname Aikido Eagle shows the level of his practice.

I would forbid all so-called sporting fights and prescribe peaceful Aikido training like that of Tamura Sensei. The stupidity of the people knows no bounds... Even geniuses like O'Sensei and Tamura could do little ... :(
