What are the documents required to apply for NOC in Nepal?
1. Passport (Original and Notarized Photocopy)
2. Citizenship (Original and Notarized Photocopy)
3. Academic Transcripts of the last Academic Degree (Original and Notarized Photocopy)
4. A valid Offer Letter or I-20 from the University/College
5. Eligibility and Registration Certificate from the Council if studying medical or nursing (Original and Notarized Photocopy)
6. Marriage Registration Certificate if your last name has been changed because of marriage
7. Old NOC if you are re-applying
The online application process for NOC
1. Go to noc.moest.gov.np and create your account. You first need to sign up with your email address or phone number to start the application for NOC.
2. Fill out the online application form following the instruction and upload the documents asked for. Make sure that all the documents uploaded are clear.
3. You will get a notice of document verification within 2-3 business days.
4. If your application is approved, you will have to pay the revenue of Rs. 2000.00 for each NOC payable to MOE at Rastriya Banijya Bank. You may sometimes be asked for extra documents or information for verification.
5. Though applied online, you must visit MOE, Scholarship wing at Keshar Mahal for the hard copy.
NOC Collection Process from NOC Office
1. Once you get a NOC verification message in your Gmail or phone number, gather all the required documents for hardcopy submission, which are already mentioned above.
2. Now, you need to visit MOE, Keshar Library, NOC Letter office and can receive NOC
i. Application form and document verification at Window 3
ii. Pay the fees at Window 2
iii. Submit your documents to Window 4 once the payment is made. You will get a token number.
iv. Collect your NOC at Window 6
