Why samsung removed this feature

Its because people usualy set a password,PIN,etc to "secure" ther device. the effects can not be used with a PIN or other methods. Samsung saw the effects been a feature that most dont see so they removed them with Android 6

the effect was introduced in the S5. it was kept in the S6 as a secondary effect and was the default on midrangers and cheaper flagships
