Wow, this actually looks amazing. I would recommend trying this at least once, based just on this video. Cutscenes or not. First of all, the maps although simplistic at first glance, really fit with the intended horror-comedy atmosphere. Also the many minor details visible in the video, like the alien looking scientist at 08:11, or the double barrel shotguns at 11:08. The first one, I think is a reference to the story about Dr. Jonathan Reed. The second references the shotgun from Blood 2, judging by the sound and how it looks. Levels full of small references, mini easter eggs, etc. is also a hallmark of excellent HL games and mods. I hope the difficulty isn't really bad. Nevertheless it actually looks like a possible masterpiece. I would definitely like to try it.

I mean, this mod ain't even offensive, honestly, just... Bad. Its full of outdated "offensive" "humor" thats just saying a slur seven times in a row and expecting that to be funny (which, admittedly, it *was* a couple times, but you throw enough shit at the wall, sonething sticks), horribly designed levels, horribly balanced weapons and enemies, and can genuinely hurt you to play. Like, this mod doesn't *deserve* the title of most offensive mod because that implies that a degree of thoughtful intent was placed in it. No. This mod was made over a hundred or so weekends by a high school student as a shitpost. I can commend it as a hobby modding project in 2013 but thats about it.

I think not playing crack-life because it is too offensive is a bad take. If you play it and find it offensive you can either stop playing or deal with it and carry on. Becuase its not actually that big of a deal, especially in the case of crack-life because its obviously just for fun. Children worry about things being "offensive", mature adults don't worry about it because it just does not matter. if crack-life is fun but offensive, then crack-life is fun.
