NOCTIS (Serenade Fantastique) | Final Fantasy XV Piano Collection | ピアノのための幻想的夜曲

Hi there. This is my second upload on Final Fantasy XV, I fell in love with this piece, NOCTIS upon the first listening.
It reminds me of nocturne, so gentle and beautiful, which fits perfectly in a quiet night.
Still, I find every single work in FFXV piano collection sublime, and I still want to play all of them if time permits.
As you can see from the video, I have done up some acoustic treatment for the recording room.
(Yes, after more than two years of playing and producing, I finally decided to do it!)
We installed acoustic wavewood on the wall to help absorbing the reflection from glasses, multifuser and fabric panel system on the ceiling to achieve a better balance for different frequencies.
The treatment looks simple and traceless, I did not expect it to take so much effort (and cleaning) behind the scene. Kudos to the professional acoustic team for working not less than 12 hours for this.
I am glad that the room is more friendly to the ears now, no more over-reverberation, and much easier for mixing. At the same time, I'm slowly getting used to the new setting.

謝謝曉彤帶來這首美麗又惆悵的 NOCTIS，我感覺作曲表達了很多想念。非常喜愛你的演奏！反覆感受著它的優雅與溫柔，讓我的想像奔馳 開頭的高低和弦是夜空的光，代表 Noctis。Do-Re-Do 則是象徵 Luna 的月光。0:33 兩者相遇有純真的感覺，閃亮上升的雙音描繪了著他們的成長。0:51 Luna 主題變得更美滿，說明她幸福期待著與 Noctis 的婚約。然而彷彿命運的六個一拍出現，情緒也轉為無奈。她得先完成自己的使命 1:09 敘述了 Lucis Caelum 家族的命運，父王，與變化。1:33 一步步上升的和弦，迎接了沒有溫柔轉折單獨出現的 La- So-，彷彿 Noctis 登基繼承王位，獨自面對殘酷命運。他的內心上下翻騰。 1:48 是整曲最甜美溫暖的部分。右手演奏著 Luna 的主題，左手傳達著滿滿想念。突然出現的驚喜，是捎來的訊息。接著右手交織著兩人，他們的心很近。雖然隨後出現了命運的拍子，但沒有恐懼的感覺。 2:26 轉化飛升的 Noctis，堅定地踏著 Lucis Caelum 家族的命運之路前進。他不像剛接下王位時惶恐，而是與父親一樣，真正的成為了王。 2:41 Luna 主題配左手不停地連續下行遠離，有難以言喻的剝離感。接著她主題後半的節奏，與命運的等長節奏，一層一層交替向上。然後宛如從深處浮上水面的氣泡消散破滅。這是 Luna 下沉送出花的那一個夢，是 Noctis 最痛苦的分離。而 3:15 是他得知她過世，感到最孤獨的那一刻。失去時，他終於明白自己對 Luna 的感情。 3:21 Noctis 再次從頭反思，但 3:45 幸福的期望不像 0:51 唱完了整句，而是直接走到了 3:05 的分離，接著彷彿煙花散落消失，一路下行至最低音。Noctis 把他們曾經可能觸及的幸福，放進自己心底最深處。他嘆了一口氣，滿滿的想念依然在腦海中飄盪著。 Somnus 如電影般刻畫了 Noctis Lucis Caelum 當上國王直到盡頭的後半生。而 NOCTIS 則帶我們進入他的內心，體會他孩童到當上國王的前半生，展現了他為什麼終其一生都無法放下對 Luna 的想念 聲學處理後，音符的線條與色彩變得更清楚。與前作對比，One Summer’s Day 有水彩的渲染之美；NOCTIS 則像是油畫，展現了更多層次的色彩對比與線條細節。恭喜你讓自己有了更多音樂表達的空間！
