I think this guy is going to become the next Marques Brownlee of tactical gear. His videos are insanely cut, the production value is pure gold. Look man even if I live across the world and not into gun culture I truly respect what you are doing because its an insane amount of work and most importantly I could lay my differences aside and learn about this often misunderstood culture.

Got my Tanto for using it in Ukraine 🇺🇦. Very good monocular, lightweight and good looking. Wish it will be durable in the field. Collecting money for Dasho bridge and second Tanto. Thanks for the video.
I purchased my tanto from cold harbor about 3 months ago. Cold harbor helped me with picking the correct device and tube. I recommend the tanto every day. I've even dropped mine from 1.5m and no damage( i S**t myself...). The tanto is legit and has preformed every night I've tried to scare my neighbors!

I own a Tanto and love it. Its extremely simple and easy to use and light. Its also way more durable than standard PVS 14s. Debated buying a second to have duals, but dont know if i want to go down that rabbit hole and have used single PVS 14s and PSQ20s for a decade now as is

What's it like not having manual gain though?
@TheRealXrayDoc11 ай бұрын
I sold my PVS14 and got 2 tantos to put on a panning bridge. I absolutely love the tantos and prefer the weight savings and ergonomics over the PVS14.

Do you have to collimate 2 tantos if you want to bridge them? Is it possible to collimate them yourself?
@DanTheMan-n5pАй бұрын
anybody know if the tanto has a plug in for battery pack if I use it as a mono?
@musicman1eanda10 ай бұрын
Tanto seems like a no brainer, but how well does that light reducing accessory really imitate manual gain? I don't want to make such a large purchase than discover I really want manual gain.
@HugeCockAndBalls10 ай бұрын
100% agreed. If it had manual gain it would be perfect.

Why isn't it made of titanium? What was with that "upgrade" to aluminium to fix an amateurish defect? Why do battery packs cost 10x what they ought?
@willthrill946 ай бұрын
When we have these collimated (unsure if spelling correctly) is that something that only needs to be done once? To clarify, if I split these to let a buddy use one tube, can I then put them back together without needing to send them in? Being able to split and combine them freely is kinda a key feature to me
@coldharboursupply6 ай бұрын
Devices can lose collimation over time with heavy use, but generally they stay within spec. For the Tanto/Daisho combo as long as you remember which tube is left and right, you should be fine.

How would a tanto and MH25 bridged look like? What parts etc.
@coldharboursupply11 ай бұрын
There's a few ways to do this. You can buy a CHS aluminum bridge from us with an MH25 shoe. This is a bit more affordable and weighs a bit more, or you can get the panobridge and the mini-rail which weighs considerably less than the aluminum bridge at a bit of a greater cost. The panning feature won't really work with the thermal but it works as a stellar ultralight bridge if using the non panning arms.

Are the nocturn industries night vision goggles military grade?
@flyrightflight11 ай бұрын
Do you need a specific tube type for the tanto? I have two -14s on a panobridge that I want to reduce weight on. Will my manual gain tubes work with this?
@coldharboursupply11 ай бұрын
They can work if the pigtail is removed.

9:00 how does the collimating works?
@coldharboursupply11 ай бұрын
Collimation works by rotating the ocular lenses and lining up the images in our ANV-126A. All of our devices will be collocated via this process to ensure that users get the best image possible. Poorly collimated devices can compromise the image in binocular systems and lead to off axis images. This is especially noticeable in panoramic binoculars.
