The first shot rio working on the explosion is pretty damn cool. Just have one thing to say: should probably do it with standard crit rating + 2 crit damage on the nocturno instead of triple crit damage, this will change the damage threshold to 13.42% of enemy health, but will be way more reliable to deal without TRO, hell, can even not use it at all and go for blast from the past or other stuff (happy holidays for CD reduction on shockwave/grenades for more chaos agent reloads for example, etc)

13:36 the shockwave blanking bug scammed you. It has some weird interactions. When it blanks it won't activate hero perks, play audio (meaning it doesn't wake up enemies), and it obviously doesn't deal damage.

Hey Beast theres something I would like to know more about, so choosing an element on a weapon has its benefits and draw backs depending on the enemies, however I realize that Physical boosts the guns damage by 44% whereas energy is 20% and if energy is dealing 75% damage to all elements and physical is only doing 50% to elemental targers than doesnt that work out to be better for physical anyways Energy = 75%+20%damage Physical = 50%+44%damage

The +25% and +44% doesn't apply to elemental targets, only physical, which includes all mist monsters. Plus 94% is already smaller than 100% due to regular math

@snowgames27 stats on the card will never be completely true. Like I said, that's only to PHYSICAL targets. When it shows you the dps, it doesn't take into account that most of the time you're shooting elemental targets.

Minigun might not work since when you pull out the minigun, you’re not holding the nocturno. I’ve tried doing it several times and it doesn’t work for me either.

It does occasionally work, I think it's because the delay of the explosion from Chaos Agent also delays when it goes away. That with lucky timing should let minigun activate the explosion crit some of the time.

Would it make sense to use TED with First Cup of The Day instead of Assault Ammo Recovery perk? Would that increase crit damage by additional 100% if you trigger the explosion by starting the reloading with Goin' Commando ability? Or would you rather rule out the use of Goin' Commando since it makes you too slow and an easy target? Just asking since I dont have the possibility to boost the Nocturno with superchargers so I'm limited to level 130 specs.

I’d want that (plus “founders” epic weapons with 6th perks cuz saving crafting materials is always nice) just so people quit asking me to craft them. They could make all the old founders stuff high-level-mission-reward exclusive or something so people actually have to play the game for it instead of sitting on a pile of gold from endurances. It’d could be a decent path to incentivising players to pay the mist titan fight, and even be an excuse to make more weapons in that same style for different types of titan bosses (like a blaster, taker and flinger version). Or another solution: make the nocturno a mythic and lock it behind TPSSD10 and allow the siegebreaker, gravedigger argon AR/lectro shock rifle and death ray to get a 40% damage version of the noc’s current 6th perk. That way, anyone can access a decent chunk of the power the nocturno has at any point during their journey to twine, but make sure only the more dedicated players get access to the 65% version of the perk. Also yes then we really would have the graveturno. The nocturno is an essential part of the game for a lot of players who shouldn’t have to, but do depend on a friend to craft them. The fact that a meta weapon is unobtainable as a schematic and locked behind well over $100 worth of micro transactions when it was obtainable is stupid.

@AlyHazz I personally once thought of a similar way to reintroduce Founder's weapons. The epic Legacy Founder's weapons could be obtained with any perk set-up from Founder's Llamas, you'd get for doing repeatable missions. That way you could reintroduce god-roll weapons and create some fun, not too strong, alternative and unique ways to play the game. The "main" Founder's weapons could be obtained through certain quests. Since you already gave an example with the Storm Shield Defences, let's expand on that. Storm Shield Defences after the 10th defence are kinda pointless, so a great way to make them a more appealing game mod would be, that you could get Let's say for the 30 waves defences in Stonewood the Founder's Revolt, in Plankerton the Founder's Deconstructor, in Canny Valley the Founder's Blazing Masamune and in Twine Peaks the Founder's Drumroll and the Founder's Quickshot. For each time you do them all once, you'd get a Nocturno schematic. If it is repeatable like the MSK missions, it would give it more purpose and people wouldn't need to change their Founder's weapons perks not for every season anymore, in order to deal optimal damage.

Unlike the heroes from the founders packs, the weapons offer unique perks, and, as this video so conveniently demonstrates, allow for different playstyles. The nocturno is an excellent primary for general play, but also it can do 10X the damage of even the strongest launchers if perked in such a way that makes it much weaker in general play, requiring a supporting build. That’s 2 distinct strategies that cannot be achieved if you don’t know a founder who’ll re-perk and craft them for you or have a schematic yourself. In other words, you’re depending on the generosity of strangers to play the game with the same substantial advantage as those said strangers, one of which has just made a video that will be viewed by a substantial portion of the community demonstrating the immense potential the weapon has, a lot of whom will not have immediate or easy access to nocturnos as it is, let alone ones specked for the build shown off here. You see the issue? The nocturno coming back would grant every player access to this and any other strategy that depends on/makes use of the nocturno’s 6th perk. It would also allow you to have multiple copies so you can have a general and several specialised copies, and likely the ability to use the collection book to reset and research them. Might I remind you that the stats of the siegebreaker and nocturno are identical. The extra power the nocturno has comes exclusively from its ability to effectively deal 165% damage at all times and its ability to have triple crit damage due to its different 5th perk. Epic could just let the nocturno’s 6th perk loose in the pool for the siegebreaker and a few other AR-style weapons, make it so they can all support triple crit damage+mag size and then the nocturno would never have to be bought back. While they’re at it, they may as well let the rest of the founders perks be used by other weapons. Whatever option you go with, making the nocturno available as a normal weapon benefits everybody equally, be it through the ability to have more than one copy of the noc, or for the graveturno to (maybe) finally be real. Or is the problem here that the nocturno is pay to win because of it’s 6th perk, and you wouldn’t want to feel like you paid for a reskin that grants no advantages over its stock counterparts in the end? Because to that I say: roll with the punches. You’re playing a game mode that’s obsessed with baked beans and only gets content every 6 months, where it’s younger sister mode has a sprawling story and gets content updates every couple weeks. Stop taking it so seriously; the higher ups at epic certainly did.
