Pretty cool sci-fi twist on death metal, a genre that usually appeals to the primitive rather than the scientific
@stevenramos80426 жыл бұрын
Nathan Penn Well said. The scientific community does not usually think God nor Lucifer exist. Luckily there are Christian scientists. Notice the huge boat on top of Mount Ararat that is the same exact size described in the bible as in cubit measurement? Notice trees standing in weighted layers of sediment from water compiling in land and whale bones in the middle of deserts? Notice the boatless Egyptian army with chariots , spears and swords and ornaments at the floor of the mouth of the Gulf of Eilat at the edge of the Red Sea? Notice the holographic dna imprint of Christ on the shroud of Turin from the description in Mark 16? Notice the millions of years after creating the universe when God finally had Lucifer trapped on this very place with nowhere else to go as he is jailed? Notice how human bones can only be traced back to almost 6,000 years? All doesn't even need science. But we'll entertain the thought that science says they're smart.

@@wearemanyyouareone7596 A real scientist does not believe that lack of known facts or evidence proves something to not exist This dogmatic attitude is what theists are scorned for, and yet you follow the same parallel in a different way It truly baffles me how unquestioning some people who claim to be interested in science can be, and will blindly reject all existence of the occult, aliens, and Divinity merely because we know little of it

Still not a single in death metal band that can match the sound of Nocturnus
@assurdo888811 ай бұрын
And the interesting (one of the interesting) aspect(s) of Nocturnus , is that they actually contributed to start an experimental "sub-genre within the sub-genre" (of Death Metal) by adding elctronical music components , without neither selling out, nor buying into the "we changed our sound in order to experiment and / or evolve" cliché. And the Extreme Metal community, back in the day (i were in my late childhood / early teens), were on average usually quite skeptic or hostile to bands that changed their sound by, say, adding electronical parts, or slowing down the speed of music, or using vocals smoother than the classic growl, whatever, but with Nocturnus most people was quite enthusiastic.
