One question i'm dying to know is how do one build the confidence. How did the both of you get comfortable in your own skin and being confident with being with someone else. How long did it take for you to build the confidence and soon open yourself to someone else?

Listening to Nodapp podcast is our favorite activity to close our day/ start the weekend! I am Korean living in Paris, my boyfriend is French, and we 공감 so much on every topic you talk about which we find supper funny. (For ex. my bf cant stop telling me to stopping eating so unhealthy, managing personal finance, opinions on having kids. Haha) Thanks for making us have discussions also while watching the video. Please keep going!

I love the contrast of your personalities with where you’re sitting/standing - brighter Dasha in the shadow, more serious Jono in the light

I feel like friendships between opposite genders(straight) can work out without anything “intimate” happening, but there needs to be boundaries set between both parties. I’ve had my fair share of male friends in my twenties, but I’ve had to constantly lay out my cards on the table since pretty early on, and tell them that I only want a friendship, especially if we hangout by ourselves, without a friend group. With that said, I’ve had to reiterate my stance on only wanting a friendship many times, specifically when I’ve felt or been told by the male counterpart that they might be catching feelings. I don’t think that having a crush on your friend is a bad thing, as long as the crush is taken lightly, I feel like crushes can easily be ignored. I do think that when people start developing stronger feelings, it’s better to take a step back. Anyways, about the girl with the worry of her boyfriend having a female friend. I feel like like she shouldn’t expect for her boyfriend to end the friendship with said girl best friend, especially if the friend was there before her. BUT, she definitely needs to set boundaries with him, communication is key, if she feels uncomfortable, she should be straightforward and tell him. And, he could distance himself somewhat from the female friend, it doesn’t mean he needs to completely cut off the friendship. When my male friends have had girlfriends, I personally distance myself from them quite a bit out of respect, I don’t ever take it personally. Honestly, male and female friendships just take maturity in order for it to work out, since there’s always the possibility hanging in the air of someone catching feelings, or being attracted to the other person.

Jono好帅啊 之前一直没有特别关注过 ,光看dasha去了。 但通过这个podcast感觉他又帅 说话也比较有条理 而且真的很温柔哎 I used to only focus on Dasha while watching your videos, but by watching this, i found Jono is so cute, quite self-consistent(?sorry for my bad English) when he talks and so gentle! Can you do a podcast about culture shock culture difference or maybe tips of learning a foreign language ?as Jonathan is an Australia born Chinese and Dasha is a Korean who used to live in Uzbekistan, 첨에 사겼을때 재밌는 이야기가 있었나요 ?

I really like these two but so far having listened to the first two episodes, I feel like some of the things they are saying are a bit problematic. They mention a lot of: “most guys do this...” “girls are like this...” and talk about a lot of stubborn heteronormative stereotypes which in itself is not harmful but when they’re giving advice or generally talking , they’re unfortunately perpetuating some pretty icky schools of thought. I don’t mind them talking to their own personal experience and about their own relationship but it makes me cringe a little when they’re talking about how other people act and what they assume all other girls and guys think (guys are macho, girls are sensitive etc). Also I think they are definitely coming from a good place but I hope for young people listening they aren’t given the impression of the world as such a binary place. And I hope this comment is taken as constructive.

This is a podcast from ordinary people TO ordinary people; they say whatever they believe-think is right casually without it being scripted, it's a 'à prendre ou à laisser' kinda thing, you either like it and watch or you don't. Personally, watching Dasha for over 3years now and Jono whenever he was introduced, I see where she's coming from; people should read between the lines and not take everything as a whole, on the first ep she mentionned English being her third language, she's eventually going to have obstacles when it comes to explaining herself or her ideas! Being korean-growing up in Uzbekistan etc plays a huge role too (coming from someone to whom English is the 4th language, grew up in Morocco, and probably being part of a different religion; I would just not know how to be sure my ideas are well taken) I generally think everyone exposed to media, listening to this or to anything else to put their own filter! Look at it being a podcast from your friends, you take what you think is a good part from the advice and just don't care about the rest if you think it is not ok, they're not forcing anyone to join what they believe in! I genuinely love these guys, and I agree on them taking your comment as constructive, there's always room for progress. Have a nice day
