@@Lornext I agree. I very much appreciate what the OG node or node with D were able to deliver, but remembering the gold ol days and have a place to come back to is one thing, knowing that the same group is still out there trying to bring out similar content is another. I'm not hating on the corridor takeover node lineup tho. They were doing a decent job keeping the channel from going under. Well, at least D is now back in charge of the channel and that's enough to make me happy.

I would go for it. Make sure you run a prime95 stress test for a couple hours to test initial stability your overclock. If it crashes or you get errors, tweak some settings and test again. If it passes the 2 hour test and you're happy with the overclock, continue to run the test for 24-48 hours to verify complete stability.

Basically, frames per second is how smooth something runs. If you run very high frames per second, then it will look very natural. Slow motion can be done when you take a high frame-per-second video, and slow it down, so it keeps around the same frames per second as the rest of the video. It needs the higher fps original video to stay natural-looking.

First step, figure out if your motherboard has an overclocking utility then if your cooling fan/device is capable of taking the extra wattage of heat coming from the cpu. Then look up instructions for the specific cpu, next look up the ones for the motherboard. Next go to bios----then what they did

If you plan on gaming, you do need a good graphics card. The processor calculates the game physics, interactions, NPCs, etc. Usually, this is actually a relatively low amount of work for the processor. The graphics card is what actually allows the game to run at the framerate that it does. Because of that, as long as the CPU is good enough, the graphics card is usually the most important part of a gaming computer. So really, if you want to game, a good graphics card is a must.

Vaio's have locked bios also. You will be able to get into the bios but the settings you need to change will be disabled. You can always try however. reboot your computer and when it is starting up it will tell you what button it is to access the bios. Tap that a bunch of times until you reach the bios screen. Since all motherboards have different bios screens look for something that talks about the CPU. Use the video as a guide on what to change. IF you can change anything.Try going to 3.0.3.5

Even if you could, I wouldn't recommend it. Laptop coolers are usually designed to the bare minimum of what you need to cool it adequately on stock speeds, in order to save internal space. Even if you add a cooling pad the internal coolers are the most important factors.
@karlzhao31411 жыл бұрын
It's because if you are recording in Fraps, the program forces you to turn on V-Sync. Otherwise, your video would have inconsistent framerates.

It's for that peace of mind, knowing that you can run at 100 fps if you weren't vsynced.
@vinvgohg11 жыл бұрын
Only if you are only hitting 50-60fps then turn it off and it'll boost the frames by 10fps roughly. But when you can hit more than 60 constantly like say 70-80 frames anywhere you go in that game and even in combat/action then you can turn it on. More frames = more work for gpu which will heat it up. If you have a game running at 100+ fps it'll increase the gpu's workload. Besides, can't really tell the difference between 60fps and 100+ fps unless the monitor is 120hz. Correct me if I'm wrong :)
