There is something inarguably mysterious about Ruth, at least when she's onstage. I don't know if it's shyness, or that she is naturally enigmatic, or perhaps both. Thanks for the upload, but the audio is so poor here that it's hard to get a sense of the performance. You can hardly hear the vocals here, and, given that the vocals on the original is such a strong and singular aspect, this recording does not do the song, and probably this performance, justice.

Actually, the recording fairly represents the sound that day -- which was pretty horrible. The vocals were far too low in the mix. They may have been rushed in their set up due to rain delays that had been playing havoc with the schedule.
