I have the phantom (blue), which is now sold out. I love it it's the only watch I currently have on a bracelet. The first strap was an early order bonus, the second was to make up for a snafu with the end links getting lost.

Gorgeous watch. Nodus is see definitely making a name for itself. The friction bidirectional countdown bezel is a highlight. Can't think of many better looking well made watches under $500.

I've had my eye on the current Tag Heuer Autavia for a while, but I just can't justify the spend, and it's a little big in my opinion. This Nodus has similar style cues, but in a much better size, and price range. Dare I say it, but I prefer this to the Tag, so I don't even want to call this an alternative, it's now my first choice and I did a buy 😎

I just ordered this watch last night after I seen your unboxing video last week. I seen that the blue sold out when I looked yesterday and said I better order before your review comes out just in case it sells out. Great looking really good specs and love the day date at the 6 o’clock. The green accents will go great for when I get my Area 51 Ford Bronco!

The contrast between their high polish and satin blasted case is really nice. They would kill it if they had some sort of hardening treatment on the steel. My Sector Field in blue really looks more expensive than it was.

That's a very unique dial and I will definitely get one! Blue dial was my first option but after seeing that salmon dial I totally changed my mind. Definitely will get a salmon dial one! Unfortunately both of these models are already sold out, I talked to Nodus watches and they restocking will be back in summer. I hope they will keep the prices same , fingers crossed.

Yeah, I have this watch and I specifically got this colourway because I thought the white numerals on black was the best choice for visibility, but then the dang date colour turns out to be near invisible in low light. Basically the watch's only flaw though.

I have the Nodus Sector Pilot Flyer with a copper/salmon dial that I had to get on eBay because this color way is sold out on Nodus. I just have two minor nits: the crown is a bit too sharp-edged and the lug holes are a bit too high, which means the first middle link juts out on each end of the end links. But overall this is a brilliant watch design and I love the originality.

I actually had the same problem with the crown on my sector pilot, the edge was so sharp it started cutting into my hand. But given the amazing Nodus customer service, they sold me a knurled crown from one of their other sector watches that fits perfectly and is way more comfortable to wear.

For the first couple of minutes, I was thinking, "weird, day and no date". Then I saw it in green. Definitely would want it in white.

Pretty great overall execution, thanks for the presentation. I would be a buyer if they upgraded the lume. I don't get the use of C1, its way less bright then C3 or even BGW9, even with the X1 version. They could have gone with what SWC did with the bunker and printed the numerals in lume, that would be nice. For me lume is too high up on the list to go for a watch that uses C1. Countdown bezel is killer though!

We started working directly with SuperLuminova last year and expressed our concerns - C3 appear green in daylight, BGW9 was not bright enough. The C1X1 was a balance. We also did not 3D print lume blocks because they tend not to last long.

I own a Sector Sport and at first I was underwhelmed by the lume in twilight conditions where other watches already are visibly glowing and the Sector does not. However, once it is really dark the lume is absolutely long lasting and perfectly capable of doing the job it is supposed to. Waking up in the dark after 5 hours of sleep and at a glance you know what time it is, even without charging it up before going to bed. I am impressed by what Nodus is doing and I am tempted by the Sector Pilot as well.

I’ve had mixed feelings about this one for a while and I’m glad you made a video on it! I think the reason I had mixed feelings was that bezel, I think a black one would compliment it more than the stainless steel. It would definitely make the green pop out more in my opinion. I know some of their other models have the option for what bezel you want..I really wish that was the case for this one However, the glass looks gorgeous! I actually haven’t seen or heard of a watch with domed glass under a flat crystal. Now I’m considering getting this or a Hamilton khaki field mechanical

I owned a Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical and it was a nice watch, very slim, but the lugs were too long and the Nodus Sector watches are much more interesting field watches. The H-link bracelet is great, with screwed links and milled clasp. I have the salmon dial Nodus Sector Pilot and the date numbers are in red which matches the inset 15-minute markers.

I recommend the Nodus. I had the Hamilton Mechanical, and the long lugs were awful. I have this Sector Pilot (“Flyer” - copper/salmon dial), and it is superb. Between the two, the Nodus is far, far better.

They should have flipped the colors of the day/date, mostly because the date is more important that the day, but also continuity of the dial.... It is kinda chopped up with the day white

What about Raven, NTH, Monta, Halios, seems like they know a thing or two about watches. Obviously higher price points, also oak and Oscar, and Astor and banks, but all these brands are making killer watches..

They may be assembled in USA but they use overseas parts. Hence why we didnt get our endlinks for 6 weeks after receiving the watch. Assembled in USA doesnt mean American parts. Japanese movement, Chinese endlinks, but its shipped to LA so its "made is USA." Nope. Incorrect advertising

Hi, Scott. The case back says that it is “designed and assembled in Los Angeles”, not made in the US. While some people may assume that these watches are made in the US based on that wording, Nodus is clearly not advertising it as such. Regardless, I do own the Sector Pilot, and it is a great watch.

We partner with Asian-based manufacturers because current US-based supply chain won’t pass our quality standards. Endlinks would likely have taken closer to 6 months in that case.
