At 05:52 NG says ".......can get a bit tricky if there's someone you've NAILED a couple of times......is kinda across the room etc..." Listening to what he says just before and just after this comment it seems like he doesn't mean "NAILED" as in Fucked. Maybe he means Nailed as in Slagged Off or humiliated in some way. Does it have a particular meaning in the U.K? Cheers
@JohnSmith-fu5ih9 жыл бұрын
theselector Yeah I think he meant it in the context of having 'nailed' somebody to the wall, as in he got angry with them and gave them a hard time.

What's the point of Riverman being mimed? When he can do it well live, pretty silly
@johnmufc239 жыл бұрын
Matthew Alistair Everyone knows he can perform. He doesnt need to prove that. In instances like this, where he said they are flying out to the USA the next morning, time is against them. Many people think you can just plug in the equipment and off you go. It actually requires a lot of setting up and adjusting. Its going to be my assumption they were going for a quick exit after the show so its just easier to play the track...
@alistairproductions9 жыл бұрын
+John H I get your point but actually I'd prefer nothing to a mime. Just me

sparksfly44 It looks kinda strange..........Noel performed live on this show back in 2012/13 when promoting his debut album. It seems like he's performing live but the show or someone overdubbed the single over the top of it. Weird. And what happened to the original guitar player? The Yank? This new guy doesn't look right in the band. Maybe he's too young.
@geezermalaya9 жыл бұрын
theselector Thats Jeff Woonton I think. He played bass in Beady Eye, toured with Gorillaz. Now I guess a stand in in Noel's band. Impressive.

I dont get the performance. Looks great and all, but its it's definitely the studio cut of the "Riverman" song, minus a few bars here and there. Question is, is it a total lipsync or are they just playing over an abbreviated track?
