Ah finally a performance with the original version of Don't Look Back In Anger. I get it that Noel must be tired of that song, but it's perfect in it's original form. The drum fill after the guitar solo is what makes this song for me.

When Noel was putting this band together he only considered Jeremy and Chris. But Chris was in Beady Eye at the time.. But at the end of the 2015 Beady Eye disbanded, and when Jeremy went to join King Crimson in spring of 2016, Sharrock was "Noel's only option". :) Both of them are really amazing drummers by the way.

@@grantmalone It is also possible that Jeremy does exactly what his boss tells him to. Buck stops with Noel I think. That pounding that he's liked since Lyla is deliberate.

@@gerrymchell Noel has said many times that he doesn't really care about drummers or drums. He was about to release the first solo album until a producer told him that the drums were shit and all needed to be redone. Noel thought they sounded fine, but the producer was really serious about it so he let him redo them. That's when Jeremy's drum tracks were recorded. Who knows what they sounded like before, but it's pretty clear that the tracks on the album aren't the result of Noel directing Jeremy to get exactly what he wanted. He hardly cared.
