I’ve seen both Noel & Paul many times but I think it was 1998 I had bought a ticket to see Paul in Newport Center. This was pre internet & phones and there was a rumour circulating in the pubs before that Noel was supporting. And indeed he was. Noel came on with an acoustic guitar and sang 5/6 songs.Only about 1000 people there. Great night.

The guy that bought us teenagers, as I was back in the 1970's the song, we're going underground, yeah liked that, use to sing it on the school bus, upstairs on the back seat, listening on one of those little square radio's, that took a square 9v battery, to make the battery last longer at night I Use to take it out and put it on the radiator, that gave it extra life. Remember Adam Ant Stand And Deliver. John Miles was another of my favourite with the song Music. All Queen Records 10cc Life is a Minestrone and Good Morning Judge. Paul MCCARTNEY and wings, Band On The Run. Those were the days when the Top 40, Singles Chart Run Down was played on Tuesdays as from 12.00 Noon. The Number 1, being played at 1.00p.m. we were late back to class on a Tuesday.❤❤
