Arcade fires cover was better. This one has too much reverb on the vocals muddying the mix. It is very good. Don't get me wrong. But it o s uses the message. An acoustic piano set with maybe just a bass and a tambourine and a double tracked vocal would been dope,kinda like how oasis did help back in the day

I'm 71 and since the first time I saw The Beatles in 1964 John was my favourite. His songwriting was just amazing and I thank Oasis for reviving the band's sound in the nineties. I still love Oasis! This is a brilliant version - I love it. Thanks Noel from this old lady!!! ❤️ 😂 xxx

I feel like Noel improved the part of 1:23 I always felt that in Johns version the songs power pauses or stops and while the bassline is cool it sounds too slow for me because the music also kind of disappears and we just hear Johns voice and the bass. Also, the driving force of the song, the 3 notes on loop, (that are strings on Johns song and what sounds like guitar on this one) i dont know if its because of the novelty of listening to this version, but i feel like Noel might have improved it, no cross that out, he didnt improve it but i really liked his arrangement. He does the timing of those 3 notes differently, which makes the sound feel a little bit faster paced. I liked that.
