The long drawn out paragraphs overflowing with a characters thoughts and feelings is called ‘stream of consciousness’ writing. Very common in literary fiction. You should check out more books with that narrative mode since you seemed to enjoy it!

From what I’ve read online, most people don’t seem to like the Ready Player One movie. I personally really liked it. The book is definitely a lot better, but the movie is worth watching!

Go into Ready Player One the movie with no expectations that it will be like the book! I’ve read and loved RPO the book and seen RPO the movie and they are both equally great but not the same thing. The movie is so fun but in a totally different way than the book! ❤️🤖

7:43 that’s my only issue with cmbyn too. it perpetuates the harmful stereotype that gay men have a preference for boys who’re too young unfortunately :/. otherwise i think it’s amazing and incredibly written!

I actually don't think CMBYN would qualify as a "romance" in the sense of the Romance genre itself. Romance as a genre is actually really strict about certain things happening in books for it to qualify, and it includes a HEA or a lead up to it. According to the Romance Writers of America, these are the guidelines to qualify for the genre and thus become a member if you have a book in the Romance category: "central focus on the development of a romantic relationship between two people. The other criteria for a romance novel is that it must have an emotional throughline and build to an optimistic conclusion." Because CMBYN ends without the main characters getting together, with no chance of rekindling their relationship...I would really not put it under the "Romance" genre and I don't think many Romance writers would either.

I've seen the CMBYN movie and thought it was just OK 🤷🏻‍♂️ I didn't get the hype other than you had two very cute str8 actors playin' gay and some great Italian scenery... Perhaps I need to read the book 🤔

I see that your a nurse, I’m currently a nursing student and I find so much trouble making time to read... do you have any advice? Or any general advice for dealing with stress being a nursing student? As well as being bullied in nursing school is this the same in the hospital?

Nursing school is hard, its okay to prioritize yourself on your days off. Take time to study and make sure youre prepared for your exams, but ultimately, make time for YOU. Because otherwise, you will burn out quickly. Study WITH friends, even if you just sit in the same room and take notes without talking. It’s always nice to have someone there. Don’t stress about the nclex until its time for that (i used uWorld, and i 100% recommend it).
