Happy birthday! Unsolicited advise, feel free to ignore: I wouldn't worry about protien half as much. Most people, Americans especially, get enough protein in their diets. Resources online have unrealistic amounts posted. When people cut calories they often cut out things they need and replace it with protien and they feel miserable. This is my routine that lost me 60lbs, its not the same items every day but similar choices. Breakfast: meal replacement shake Snack: Rice cake with Peanut Butter or guacamole with some berries on the side. Lunch: Rice and beans. Snack: Egg white omlette and a salad. Dinner: Meal replacement shake. By the time I get to a dinner, I'm almost too full to have it. I have never counted calories or protien.

@@hearthseeker2425 thank you for this! I love seeing what people eat in a day. I guess this powder is similar to your meal replacement drinks. I’m of an advanced age and trying to build (or retain) muscle so my doctor advised to increase protein. Here’s a video with what I generally eat in a day if your curious: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKWbaGp7dq9ljNEsi=iVVWxjUUhBTVGjsw

55 MG of cholesterol. Yikes! I will have to make a big comment about best protein and protein amounts (generally).
@Nofrillsasmr23 сағат бұрын
That does seem high doesn’t it. But interestingly when I researched it a bit, for some reason it seems to lower bad cholesterol levels in the blood.

TVP is the best protein out there.
@Nofrillsasmr23 сағат бұрын
@@DSRekulaar it is good. I was vegetarian for a lot of years and ate it a lot. I’ve cut back a bit on soy products. Thanks for your comment!
@DSRekulaar15 сағат бұрын
@Nofrillsasmr that's good to hear! Most people don't know about TVP crumble or curls. Love to see it! It's too bD you cut back on soy, it's incredibly healthy and contains phytoestrogen. It's disimlar to estrogen which is produced by animals and humans. Eating cheese and whey and dairy products in general will increase your hormone count as they connect to the alpha receptor. Photoestrogens mimic only in name and are much more complex. They connect to the beta receptor instead of the alpha receptor (where animal hormones do). This actually balances out the hormone production of the body and can correct many health issues. Phytoestrogens in the diet are digested, then metabolised by bacteria in intestinal, absorbed in the intestinal and conjugated in the liver. Furthermore, the phytoestrogens circulate in the plasma until they are finally excreted in the urine. Whereas estrogen from animals stay in the body and connect to alpha receptors. They stay around longer and put your body into hormone production imbalances. TLDR - SOY and other plants produce Phytoestrogen (isoflavones), which improve health across the board, and Dairy products produce estrogen which impact health. Here is some research paper on this topic if you're interested! pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6390141/ Happy health!
