thats what i love about them, they just don't give a shit they want to have fun, i even enjoy watching their shitty performances because they're just having a good time

I think that’s the joke for their live album “I heard they suck live”. They are actually pretty damn good live - at least the couple of times that I’ve seen them dating back to the early 90s.

I couldn't agree more... when it kicks in at 1:05 it's as close to punk rock perfection as it's ever going to get.

what about the banter in the beginning? its different
@MichaelFelcher5 жыл бұрын
@@haydenbosler2880 for some reason they dubbed in the audio from the record. Which for the life of me I can't understand. The banter in this video sounds good enough, so I don't see why the song wouldn't be. But it's 100% the audio from the record, complete with the "golfers like to test the limits" line referencing the banter from the record. I don't know man, it's strange for sure.

Sounds like the "They actually gotten worse live" recording... Was it the show they recorded for that album?
@ax5695 жыл бұрын
no it wasn't
@MichaelFelcher5 жыл бұрын
@@ax569 this is definitely the audio from the live record. Whether or not this is the actual show the audio was recorded from I have no idea. I did get the feeling watching this that the audio was dubbed over the video. But I can't for the life of me figure out why'd they do that. The audio from the pre and post song banter sound good, so I don't know why they wouldn't use the song from the show in the video. But that's 100% the audio from the live record, complete with the line about golfers oding which is a reference to the banter before the song on the album. I don't know man, shit's weird.

Those were Darby Crash's last words at the final Germs show. At the end of the set he said "we'll see you all at Oki-dogs". Then he died 4 days later. Mike actually used the same line at the very end of the "I Heard They Suck Live" record.

Hey haters!!! Are you able to understand the punk-rock philosophy behind their live performances...?!? They don't give a shit if the title is not as perfect as it is on the studio version, they just want to party with their audience!!! And to be honest I saw a pretty good amount of NOFX live shows where they were just as good as in studio... Try to understand a little more of the personalities for each band members (Erik Sandin, Fat Mike, El Effe and Eric Melvin) before to juge them!
