I’ve like this mascot of Noggin and after his departure from the network and Moose and Zee were the mascots of Noggin until it’s shutdown and they moved to Nick Jr. and then they were retired. Fun fact: the voice of Moose is the same guy who did Stick Stickly of Snick.

I remember when my family first got satellite TV in 2003, and I saw the Noggin channel for the first time. That was around the time Noggin was rebooted with Moose and Zee. I saw Feetface for a week or two, and then he left to make way for the new hosts.

At one point in July 2018, when I had a short obsession with Noggin, every time I would go to summer day camp or my grandma’s house to visit my cousins who were visiting from Utica, NY, I would sing this song loud and clear first thing when I arrived. Sometimes the other campers (when I was visiting the summer day camp) would find it annoying, but I just found it hilarious after I sung! 😂

Wait, that character had an actual name?! And all this time, I thought he was just some genetic character meant to represent every viewer in existence at the time. I thought for a while he might also be the mysterious "NogginUser" who made anonymous suggestions from time to time on episodes of "Sponk" (of course, it could've been just people who didn't bother to make a full profile for the Noggin website, which might've been just as well given how much the channel was in an identity crisis for most of its existence).

The reason they got rid of him is because in August 2002, Sesame Workshop sold its 50% share of Noggin to Nickelodeon, forcing Noggin to undergo a major rebrand. I don't know what species Feetface is! He just looks like a ball with legs!

I remember in 2012 when I was 8 years old and was looking at lots of Noggin videos on KZbin (Especially after Moose & Zee left Nick Jr on March 1, 2012), I first realized there was the pre-teen era of Noggin from 1999-2001 with Phred, and the Feetface era from 2002-2003, and I was shocked to learn there were eras of Noggin with hosts other than Moose & Zee, because I was born in 2004 and watched Noggin since 2005, so I thought Noggin was always Moose & Zee until I saw TheALayman's video of Feetface's Things You Can Do Song in 2012. I got this recording from NostalgiaKarl in 2017. He duplicated the tape for me, sent it to me, and I digitized it and uploaded it here. I must say, it is neat to know about this era of Noggin before me.
