Context of this reply: Mental image was a literal sink rather than a faucet. It is common in America to say tap water as well. However, I would say it is much more common to call it a "sink" as a more general term as kitchen sink or bathroom sink. "Tap water" is more related to the kitchen while "faucet" is too fancy to make sense unless speaking in a very polite manner.

I playtested a bunch of games at EA between 2012 and 2016. I can say that earlier when I was starting, I was more professional with telling them bugs and glitches but they were more accepting in terms of escapism and less lenient for seriousness and polishing. However as the times progressed and my last playtest in 2016. when I reported about bugs, they were more inclined to polish it and make it "award winning". I playtested an original in 2012 in its close to alpha stage and 1 sequel in its very early stages. Came back a year and a half later to playtest it again and was surpised of how much it changed but more or less the atmosphere defitnitely was different in the studio.

One thing I don't like about some foreigners is that they distinguish America as a whole. When plenty of states were founded by foreigners and most vernacular is passed down. TAP is used in a lot of Midwestern states. No one I know says, FAUCET when they're talking about sinks. Things like spigot are used more south. There are few spigots used in the Midwest.

Yeah, it really depends on the region and generational terms. My family usually refers to a spigot for an outdoor faucet (the thing you connect a yard hose to the house with). It's actually called a hose bib or something. Faucet/tap is typically used to describe indoor fixtures for us. I'm on the East coast, but my grandparents came from Midwest and western PA with private well water...probably why it carried over.

Just gonna leave a comment about a timestamp - 31:30 Honestly as someone who has been playing Warframe for quite a while (more like about 6 and 1/2 years as of me leaving this comment here), I really like how Digital Extremes runs their game. When they see their player community post really odd bugs like summoning literal motorcycles in missions and content where it normally isn't intended, they straight up made it a feature. Heck, I can go back as far as maybe 2016 or 2017 when there were mobility glitches for you to go faster, they saw that and remade their mobility system to what it is today, and the game is still fun (albeit grind-hell).

I spent some time as a beta tester for a mobile game. I got to know the devs pretty well as they were quite active in their Discord community. Much more so in the private testing channel. A lot of it is mundane, plowing through hours of broken shit, but every now and again we found bugs with interesting and often funny quirks, and they usually shared the opinion of how it could be utilised and made into a feature. Every one of those ideas was quashed at the top by the owner. It was a small team, a bit more than a dozen, and all decisions were made by this one person, and that was the end of it. They had a vision and there were no exceptions. I suppose it's normal for the head to be all business. I believe most devs love games and it's much more than a job. There are obviously exceptions, and that's where gamers get royally screwed by the fun police.

17:54 you can download old version of Gang Beasts using the steam Console, i can't remember exactly how it's done but me and i think 7 others played a 2016 version of gang beast earlier this year, I downloaded the old update and we just did remote play with sunshine/moonlight, And it's so much more fun IMO, the physics are much more bouncy and unpredictable in the old versions, and when playing locally you get a lot more maps than with a server, although if you'd like you can also download an old server and direct connect to it if you wanna play it just like the you did back then
