I remember Howard Stern interviewing Tiny Tim (don't know if it was THIS interview or not). I was struck by how nice Stern was, how respectful to Tiny Tim. Seemed to me like two misunderstood people who understood each other.

okay...I feel really bad for Tiny at the end. What bitches. He was such a kind soul! I know he was not much to look at but he was a beautiful human being. The end made me depressed.

He was goofing on everyone, bro, like Andy Kaufman. Get over it

@@readmelancholystrumpetmaster Stern goofing or not, whats the insult even? Too famous, too pious? Too old to wanna get naked with? Seemed like he just gave an innocent vibe and excused himself, nbd

What a great interview. This is an example of why Howard's show was golden -- a little risque but playful and always humorous. Shame about Tiny Tim leaving the show, though, what the heck was that about?! He was such a gracious talent, no way Howard and Robin could ever jerk him around.

The guy had more of Jesus living in him than any other satan-worshipper musical artist of today!

Tim Burton resembles Tiny Tim, esp. in the profile photo of Tiny. Funny coincidence they're both named Tim.

I've heard about it, but since I have never been a "fan" (or a hater) of Stern's, I haven't searched it out. I know Stern loves to provoke his guests; some guests take it better than others, and Tiny Tim's views on Jesus were very important to him, so I don't think Stern was trying to be "cruel", probably just needling him in Stern's inimicable style.
