Thanks again for your comments. The object to be attached to the tip must be light. The load capacity of a flexible arm depends on the strength of the spring and aluminum wire used, but if too thick aluminum wire or spring is used, it will lose its smoothness and the round bar will have to be very thick, which will be uninteresting. I am sorry that this is not a solid answer.

If the hole on the concave side (the hole drilled with the Forstner Bit) is eccentric, it can be adjusted by shaving the edge of the hole with a carving knife or the like, and it can be used with little problem. However, if the eccentricity is too large and the edge of the hole is too thin, it will not work. If you first drill a shallow hole and find that the hole has a large eccentricity, you can cut off that part and re-drill the hole again. It won't be too noticeable if it's a little short. (This is NOHO-style sloppy Woodworking ^^:)

Very ingenious, thank you, one day I will couple it with your other idea of Magnifying Glass, or magnetically adjusted bezel glass, best regards from France & Canada !

Thank you ! I think there is still a lot of room for improvement, but I hope I can be of some help.
