The reduction in fan noise you're hearing is probably an effect of different impedences and circuit design causing differences in frequency response and SNR. If you were to try a different microphone you'd probably get different results.

I had the ugreen and it has a noise gate which is not something you want pre-applied to your recording (you can easily add it in post) so I think the noise cancelation will also affect your final output, so I think the Vention is the better option.

Hi. So i bought UGreen sound card primarily coz I needed the USB function of it as opposed to the 3.5mm jack. I chose this brand coz of good reviews when paired with a Logitech low-end headset. In my case though, I've tried 2 different headsets and I can't seem to get rid of this buzzing sound. I'm just wondering if you had the same issue at the start and did some sound settings adjustment (which BTW, I've tried some of the basic ones) or if you didn't have any issues whatsoever with them (you said you have 2 of the UGreen, was the quality the same for both units?). I hope this reaches you. Thanks a lot.

Hello! Question lang. What do you use to record your voice? I also have a Razer Kraken X but when I plug it to my laptop that has a combo jack (no need external soundcard) it doesn't sound as clear as the audio you have in #3. Thanks in advance!

Realtek is my laptop's built in audio jack. The clearest most pronounced bass pickup from microphones is only delivered by vention in my experience.

Yes, 100%, sound cards affect headphone audio. In fact, it's not widely known/advertised that 3.5mm headphones rely heavily on soundcards for audio output. I use this vention with my razer kraken. Brings out decent sound. Not bass heavy but more balanced

@@dantsu1616 depending on your motherboard. If it's high-end you can expect a soundcard with decent output. Audio matters much to me and my buddies, so we all use external soundcards. I use the Creative Audigy 6 and Soundblaster G3

Hi! Does this help in reducing static noise in microphones and headset?? For some reason kasi, nakakarinig ako ng parang buzzing noise at nagpoproduce rin ng static noise kapag nagrerecord ako sa microphone.......parehas sila directly connected sa motherboard at 3.5mm audio jack ang connector, so ask ko lang po kung nakakabawas ito ng static noise?

Depending on your pc's integrated soundcard. If you're pc has good audio output and mic pickup, use a Splitter. Otherwise, external usb soundcard

How do they compare when plugging in passive instruments like electric guitar straight to the PC? Which has less noise?

I am unsure that would work the way you expect it to but if you have an ampli with a line out, it should do the trick. If you're recording guitar/vocals, use the vention for a full, non-processed audio pickup. For less noise, Ugreen, but the sound will not be authentic

Of course. Ensure Ugreen is selected as default in sound settings, make sure it's not muted, then open your win10 camera recorder and record a video to listen to the audio pickup.

Di pwede electric Gtr straight to mic port. Kung may ampli ka na may line out or phones out na 6.5, pwede yon. Ang ugreen 3 ports meron. 1 TRS for mic. 1 TRS for audio. And 1 TRRS for combo. Sana nasagot ko tanong mo

It would definitely work on the vention soundcard as it supports all kinds of TRRS jacks (4 pole jack). The ugreen soundcard only supports 1 kind of TRRS jack. In my exp, the microphone of my apple earpods dont work on the ugreen but works on vention

I have tried "phones out" to an audio mic splitter plugged in to the vention soundcard..... It had static but my ampli's line in is bad so i can't really say. If you plan on recording, do not use the ugreen soundcard as it does not pickup the pure audio from a mic/audio out because of its built in noise cancelling chip.

Gamit ko si Vention kasi masmalakas audio output and unprocessed ang mic so buo ang tunog ng boses ko at the expense of noise cancellation. If noise cancellation habol mo, ugreen.

Yes! BUT in some cases only. I own an MSI GF63 with very shitty audio jacks for mic and sound. Vention made my headsets shine. If your pc has good audio jacks (Dell laptops almost always have good ones), I don't think vention or ugreen will be an upgrade. BTW Ugreen's max audio is about 80% of vention's so if sound is the priority, go for vention.

Yes, USB 3.0 is backwards compatible so you wouldn't have any problems. I have tried it myself. Clean audio for both 2.0 and 3.0

Yung mga totoong 7.1 headset ay maraming speaker sa loob at sobrang mahal. To answer your question, kung meron kang virtual 7.1 surround sa device mo, ps4 or pc, mababago nya ung tunog sa vention so gagana sya
