this pizza tower speedrun was REALLY HARD i like genuinely reset multiple times when i got to the floor 5 skip at the end. luckily i got it first try on this run so im happy :D noise is such a fun character and i got really good splits on this speedrun so yea
also ignore what happened in crust cove. It didn't happen.

pizza tower speedruns are timed with the in game timer, which pauses during results screens. because of this, it is actually faster to wait out the results screens instead of doing RSS. The only exception to this is in fastfood saloon, where you can do a trick called Viilante Upwarp

in a no glitch run, would it be fastest to take as much damage as possible during the boss fights so you didn't have to wait for them all to add up?

Funnily enough, the hard cut from a boss fight to the lobby is not a glitch. You can quit out of the level as soon as you grab the key, and it'll still count as being obtained for the sake of going to the next floor. Since the health add-up animation happens after picking up the key, you can skip whether major glitches are allowed or not.
