Not bad at all Eoin, I like it. But hear me out here, man. I think it's about time you tried some complextro or dubstep/drumstep again. You're one of the most unique artists I know and something like new dubstep track would be groundbreaking coming from you. Several dubstep artists have lost qualities that once made them unique and it has been killing dubstep as a genre. We really need something creative to keep it going. I know you favor breaks and trap over other genres right now, but it would be great to see something different. Something with unique qualities, like Leaving Now (which is great), but maybe something like a new dubstep/electro track. I'm not saying you should listen to me, no ones forcing you to make a certain type of music. But god, it would be great hearing something like this from you again. Anyways, I wish you luck and I hope for something like this in the future!

Kaizerwolf It's called feedback, we do know he probably likes to make it, but he won't like it either if not all people can enjoy what he makes. I think this sudden change in music style is what the fans don't like, because we all enjoyed the old noisestorm songs, it was his unique style no-one else does. So it is dissapointing to see that style get ditched for a new style.

I'm aware what sidechaining is (or at least how it's supposed to be used), the problem is every single element ducking under the bass (not the kick) for extended amounts of time, and somehow even the bass sounds like it's ducking in the intro in the middle of the loop but somehow not the start and end, even though I can't immediately find anything going on that could even be causing said ducking even with irresponsible master compression. On one hand it kinda sounds like it could be an artistic decision but on the other hand I'm having trouble hearing it as anything except a defect, and the ducking during the drop definitely does not sound like it'd be an artistic decision to me.

Damn this is hot. I like this very much since I'm more of a person who's into this kind of stuff than dubstep or glitch hop (no offense to people who are into dubstep). It sounds very dramatic instead of the normal dubstep which is all bass drops or random noises coming out of no where. And I can kinda hear the title from the music, unlike most of the music out there where the title is just a decoration, if you know what I mean. Anyways I love this one, great work!

I have been with Noisestorm since Sentinel, going back to some of his other work, but if anyone says your old stuff is better than this, they are wrong. That would imply you aren't improving, which you most definitely are. Antihero blew me away, and now Escape. I mean, if a new direction features you doing some of your older kinds of work (solar, ignite, etc.) then you do you, but please don't give up on the current style/genre you have been producing, because whenever I see Noisestorm releases, I get so hype for some sick beats that work in just about anything (especially gaming). I don't care if you take a year for your next song, as long as it is good.

Zeyad Youssef Mmm... this style that you favor was indeed, unique at first. In fact it started with Sentinel, as that was his first breakbeat track. I liked it, Barracuda and Heist were my favorite experimental tracks of his. However, after all this time(3 years later), his style hasn't changed much, which is what disappoints us. There seemed to have been a decline in diversity. Eoin had always worked with a variety of genres in the past, which appealed to many people as he gained a following. After Sentinel, I was like, "Oh, cool! Breaks from Noisestorm!" After Heist, I was like "Oh cool, trap from Noisestorm! I can't wait to see what he tries next!" Then along came Antihero. Honestly, it isn't a bad song, it's just didn't seem to live up to Eoin's standards and the badass-sounding Heist in my opinion. I'm sure a few long-time fans such as myself can agree with me on that. A defining factor here is the time between his releases. There's so much hype whenever he put out a track, and that's exactly what left people most disappointed at this particular release. Leaving Now and This Feeling have given us a refreshing break from his 'trappy' side, and I was more than excited to see what he came up with next. So here, now, 7 months later, we get yet another breaks track. A track with recycled sounds and melodies... yep. Can you sort of see where I'm coming from here? I'm all for making what you want, but producing in the same style for so long really wears on us old fans, ya know? I was quickly rejuvenated from hearing this track after Eoin said he was taking a new direction, and I'm sure many others were as well. Now for our conclusion. You didn't expect calling his new stuff better than his old stuff and getting away with it did ya? He was improving after his first couple tracks in 2014-15. But now, it just seems stale and repetitive. Despite all of what I stated, you don't have to listen to me, as this is indeed, a matter of opinion. Just wanted to let you know the reason behind some of these negative comments. An insight to how us long-time fans feel. We want the old Eoin back. Hope I got the point across:).

Aside from about 0:10-0:40 I didn't find a particular piece that hooked me like it could get stuck in my head, but overall I like the song. It feels sorta like a solid 8/10 that I know I could throw into a gaming playlist and enjoy, but at the same time not something I'd try to show someone directly if I was worrying about their opinion.
