Colin Wichman Well, I am not SO nostalgic as you would imagine, but I see producers trying to overengineer each other, completely forgetting about synergy between melodic and sound engineering. This track is absolutely balanced in every possible way. I closely watch the dnb scene since 2003 (when I got my first computer, lol), and I can possibly name a couple more tracks released since then which... Well, say - they are trying their best. They are great, basically brilliant (I am talking about Fresh and Pendulum which are SURPRISINGLY Breakbeat Chaos crew, hehe). But I can't feel the euphoria filling my entire body - like when I listen to this track. If anyone would ever beat this track - I will be the first to make the official statement. But until then - alas. Noisia is still a living legend, but apart from them (and their crew like Hybris, Upbeats, Phace) - the scene is quite weak. I lay my hopes for Russian (Ukrainian, Belorussian etc.) scene which is stronger than ever nowadays (and I'm not talking about prime stars like Teddy Killers, just fkn listen to Rusty K “Dark Eyes” or “Wasteland”). BUT STILL this track has not yet been beaten by anyone. P.S. But who knows - what Noisia brought to this track and what Shanodin did? :)

Idk maaan it's hard to beat it , the whole track is built for aq super wicked breakdown. Try DJ Friction-Photon but that's still just a single drop. You have to heat how it was dropped and rewound 3 imes to really understand and that's rigt on the eve of 2000 so a long fucking time ago.
