The people who are claiming that this video shows any form of animal cruelty have never owned a cat, or any pet for that matter. When an animal, for example cats, get hungry and depend on an owner to feed them, and they learn that the food comes from a can, they will get noisy and excited over the prospect of dinner. My cat, while not doing that for every meal, has shown her eagerness and excitement. This is just normal cat behaviors.

that is not unusual for kittens. Queens when in heat will mate with multiple toms. A litter can often have half siblings who have different fathers. I had 3 cats who were litter mates. 2 black males and a grey and white female.

It just takes a little carelessness, bad luck, cat curiosity and oversight for this kind of tragedy to happen: leave the washing machine door open, kitty crawls in, someone else in the family listening to music on their headphones waltzes in and obliviously tosses laundry inside and turns it on, cat drowns and no one knows until they pick up their clothes. This kind of tragedy happens with maddening regularity, cats being accidentally crushed by electric recliners, run over as people back out of garages, baked in the oven after a cleaning, so no, it's not "nonsense", it's an important word of caution for people to be more careful when they use dangerous appliances.

Please. I have five cats, and they STILL act like this every time it's time to eat. In fact, one of my cats would put these kittens to shame, and she's a fairly big, very well-fed animal. She had plenty of food in her dish, but it was at the sides of the dish, not the middle, and she only likes it when her food is in the middle of her food dish. I've told him that he doesn't have to be affectionate to make sure I'll feed him, but he never listens. And, yes, he'll do this even when his food dish has food in it already. Exactly! I'd have fed them so that they get to eat in order of their quietness, so the Orange one eats first, then progressively back, and one at a time and they'd get the exact same amount so that the voracious bossy ones don't get more than the others. If your puppy, barked and howled and jumped on you and then leapt at the tray of food before you even set it down you'd be called a worthless dog owner, but when it's a cat nobody complains... just ridiculous.

After watching this lovely clip it moved me to write a little poem about it , this is called the kitten chorus The Kitten Chorus Every day I get woken by the kitten chorus song who want to know the reason why breakfast took so long I prepare their food while removing kittens from my leg and listen to the kittens sing for morsels they can beg Soon as they are all eating I grab a sip of tea the litter trays are still waiting to be cleaned by me Once that's done I can sit down and finish off my tea usually with a furry clown who's climbing all over me This is what happens every day there's never time to spare because now the kittens want to play as they scamper here and there When they're all curled up fast asleep and I see them there happy kittens in the keep of loving foster care Copyright@Bernie Colley 2017

Anyone who thinks you starved the kittens for entertainment clearly doesn't have much experience with cats!!! Anyone who's ever spent time with cats knows that CATS HAVE ZERO PATIENCE. My own well-fed, well-cared-for cats have no patience whatsoever when it comes to their food, and they will carry on whining and crying (with frantic desperation!) before every meal. My little guy impatiently tries to grab his food bowl from my hands before I've even had time to set it down, and these guys are eating plenty at regular intervals. Anyway, this video is insanely adorable, and tiny baby kittens are decidedly less-patient than adults are.

That's why I trained my Cat not to start whining before receiving its food. If the cat Did ANY WHINING before I put the food Down I would withhold the Food for an hour before feeding the cat again. After while the cat began to comply with the feeding protocol and doesn't whining before receiving its food. If the cat starts whining I give the cat "The look" then it stops whining.

Go Away no, actually hes 100% right, say you were starving, you hadent had anything to eat all day, someone starts getting you food but because you keep asking, because your starving, they decide to wait an extra HOUR before giving you the food because your pissing them off, it wouldnt be the cats that are impatient in this case, it would be the human, one animal, being a piece of shit over another animal asking for food, if you have to be a control freak and make your animals not make a single sound when they want food then at least just do it for 5 or 10 minutes doing what matt did, making his cat wait for an hour over something as silly as just asking to be fed, just puts distrust between you and the cat and hurts the cat in more ways than just starving, thats the last thing you want to do if you want a bond between you and the cat edit: plus once a cat, or any animal, knows where food comes from and understands the process of what the human does to get the food, theyll get exited, i commented saying my cat will sit patiently by his bowl while were getting the food ready, but once he knows its done hell get exited and rub around our legs, meowing, thats not something you try and stop and DEFINITELY not something you make the cat wait over an hour for food over, thats just pathetic, and if you live with an animal and do something like that you dont deserve them
