4:29:30 compression brakes! I can't be certain, but that's a familiar sound. I used to live next to a fairly busy road that had a connection to the freeway. someone correct me if I'm wrong, instead of the usual engine activity of compressing air+fuel, igniting it, then pushing out the exhaust, the engine pulls in air with no fuel, compresses it, and opens the exhaust while it's still compressed, making a heck of a loud noise and losing a ton of energy. That's how you can slow down without burning up the brakes, especially when going downhill, at higher speed, and/or with a heavy load. ...You can hear in this video why they're usually illegal to use in residential areas

There are glitches that break the game, and there are exploits, and there are strategies that simply work better. I think anyone who plays this more than three times will know what they are doing and can decide for themselves. I just mean, this game kind of asks the player to not play by the rules all the time. I use the squidward exploit, since I haven't beaten anything yet, while someone more experienced would maybe even skip that part because they do not need as (potentially)high power early, because they have more experience overall. :) (Edit: aka I played Terraria, I know when to use a Wiki)

This vid inspired me to get back into noita! Second run I made it to wand mart, I had nearly 500 health, wand tinkering, excellent digging, damage and travel and had just picked up some healing. Next on the agenda was the alchemist to get infinite heals. Then I fell into a pool of polymorphine and a big ol fungus exploded on me. All over in a couple of seconds. Good times, great memories.

I was trying to figure out the math for the hungry ghost as opposed to concentrated spells which is simply 12.5*(spells^2)+(spell damage). Hungry ghost is WAY more powerful if you have many of them because it multiplies your power instead of adding some. Your damage is *multiplied* by ((1.25^buffs)^(spells))*(spells). With 22 spells and 6 ghost buffs at a time, that number is *136 billion,* which is multiplied by the damage of all the spells, and then you include projectile weakness, wand refresh, or crits, and it just gets wild. The math for that is insane.

a "win" in Noita is having a fun and interesting run. beating the bosses or completing the works is really easy if you just go for it without trying to enjoy the explosions and rivers of acid. but that would be neither fun nor interesting, which is why we experiment, why we gamble, why we still die in the mines more than on any other biome, why we trip balls on every occasion possible. also why we look new spell combos(rock or long distance cast are my new fixations) and new useful alchemy recipes(beware flumoxium, people always underestimate flumoxium)

What they could do instead of allowing a fifth wand, maybe they make a spell that lets one animate a wand, with a spell, and that wand will fly around with the player character and automatically attack their foes. Though maybe that's overpowered. Otherwise, they could allow a perk that lets one carry a fifth wand. Though with perk duplicating, maybe that is also a bit overpowered. EDIT: Oh, when you take perk lottery twice, does that mean it rolls it twice so you have a 75% chance of keeping the perks instead of 50% chance? EDIT 2: About 1.268 quintillion when the re-rolls are done. ... Oh, and fun fact: A 64-bit integer goes up to a bit over 18 quintillion (for an unsigned number), which is the maximum individual number you can store on a computer without some trickery. It used to be a little over 4 billion on 32-bit computers.
