People from the bronx having family in lawrence, massachusets is SUPER common. Lawrence is very similar to the bronx demographically. Lawrence is over 80% Latino. We call it Law-Town. Pretty much everyone in lawrence is either dominican or Puerto rican. It's actually the most Dominican city in america percentage-wise by a long shot, at about 40% dominican. A lot of famous reggaton artists are from lawrence. There are also a lot of clubs out there that famous rappers get booked to perform at when they do shows in "boston." It's like 20 miles north of boston. Old, kinda rundown industrial city of about 100k people. It's pretty lit tho. I had a gf from lawrence. The rapper, terminology is also from there.
