What Ceddy said about Black people have to start seeing cops when there isn’t crime is so true. This would help drastically and our neighborhoods and family structures are not so fucked up that resources wouldn’t drastically improve it. I’m a law abiding citizen, but I grew up in the hood and I literally have to overcome my aversion to police officers. Even if your family structure is messed up, if you are learning in school that you are valued and can actually do something with your life, a lot of kids will figure out a way to succeed. Government intervention is a proven method of helping.
