The ringtones do get loud enough indoors, outdoors I don't know. If you're looking for a phone with a really loud ringtone, I would recommend either the Nokia 100 (2011) or the Nokia X1-01 (2011)

Whats wrong with Nokia, I Bought this for mother, I am disappointed with ring tones. None of them are good, and not loud enough. Atleast they should have added old landline phone ringtone Even very old 1100 or brick phone had more ringtones
