Nokia 6310i (2002) - Retro unboxing and review. (First Nokia Bluetooth phone)

In this video I unbox the Nokia 6310i.
This was the first Nokia bluetooth phone ever released and the first mobile phone to feature predictive text messaging.

I have three of these, which I got in 2002--one I used, one for my mother, and a spare phone used as a charging station. My mom died and her phone was lent to her previous nanny who dropped it out of a four story window--it was damaged; I bought a new case to repair it, but the circuit board corner was bent. Mine, as mentioned in previous post, was used continuously for 20 years until today--power button doesn't work anymore, but I have to replace due to 3G shutdown in USA. So I am using the SIM card in the third phone--the spare phone, which is in absolutely new condition, original factory screen protection film still on it--much clearer than the one I used for 20 years, which still had good clarity.

I am finally retiring my 6310i after 20 years of use--powered on 24/7/365 for 20 years, still on the original set of batteries, dropped so many times, and still best phone call clarity. Wish they made the new 6310 2021 retro update a 4 G phone--built to same quality and specs otherwise. Great phone. Sorry to see it go, need to find equivalent replacement, which will be a Xiaomi Qin F21 Pro. Sigh!

I just ordered this One again! So Fed Up! With those touch phones! Here in Sweden you can Still use GSM 2g theyre phasing out 3 and 4g just to get 5g on top! But as earlier mentonied! GSM and 2g works!

Do you know if these older Nokia’s with the monochrome displays can still load music via Windows 10? For example, my teacher is a musician and he is going to send me some loops of my favorite songs and i am going to load them to Windows Media. Do I need a cable for that or do these not work with music anymore?

Thanks for watching the video User User. I haven't connected the phone to pc via Bluetooth myself but I believe it can be done as long as you update the Nokia suite software to version 6.81.13.0 or newer.

I used to connect it to pc by Bluetooth and use the internet from the nokia to the pc. Back in the old days.

As 2024 this phone can only be used on O2 network until 2025 as phone but soon all UK networks will be dead soon
