I have been using this phone since April 2018. It's an amazing phone and i don't have any big complain so far. The best parts are the Android One OS (love the google assistant) and the phone design. The Nokia Camera is good, its even better with Google Cam Mod installed. The Battery is also good but not superb (lasts 1.5 days max). The only down side i found is Bluetooth, Wifi and 4G connection will get disconnected once in a while (reboot the phone or turn on and off airplane mode will solve the problem) I hope Nokia will fix this bug.

The metal unibody case is practically a Faraday cage. That's the main reason that why Nokia 7 Plus are so bad for use in bad coverage areas by the carrier.

Watching on a N7+ and 100% agree with all points in this vid. To me this is the modern day 'immortal brick' (actually feels sturider than the N6 and N8 Soricco), so choosing LED was the best choice since AMOLED are reluctant to screen burn-ins. BUT not having a strong IPS rating was a let down. Would of been so much better to have the headphone jack on the bottom (I tend to put my phone in my pockets head-down first), but at least it has a headphone jack! Also, well done on making me fall for the "WORST FEATURE" click-bait :P

You shouldn't really count Gorilla Glass 3 as a negative drawback, 3 is actually harder than 5 and therefore less scratch prone, but is more brittle, so therefore more crack prone. It's a trade off, but not necessarily worse.

Yeah I've got one of these little tykes. It's mostly really good. Android One is a delight for all the Nexus fans who were left orphans when they were discontinued. Android One is the best compromise. Also it means I got Android Pie already. I have to agree that the face-thing is awful but then it's naturally awful, so no surprise there. I don't use it at all. Fingerprint is more practical. And I also have to agree that the battery is absolutely awesome. I can do two days even if I've been playing PoGo or Evoland etc for a few hours. It's really refreshing to go out and not worry about running out of power. I used to carry my external battery + plug + cable everywhere, well now not so much. Unlike some, I don't have any issue with either WiFi or Bluetooth.

@@HaylsWorld Nokia announced 4 new phones they planned to launch all in the budget segment. And one high end concept phone. Most of them look like the Nokia 6.1 Plus more so than the Nokia 7 Plus. The latter has a distinct look in matte black and copper fencing. They really need to keep that iconic look for their high end phones. Its one of a kind.

I really like the Nokia 7 plus and I'm very glad that I bought it! The design is beautiful, it works really well and it's great that it comes with a clear case and headphones! Though I wish the case was a bit bigger since if it falls, the case doesn't catch it because it's 'too small'. But I guess you can just buy another case if it's a problem for you. And I'm not sure if it's only the bad audio-jack or if the microphone is pretty bad? I've noticed that when I record videos and it's a bit annoying. Otherwise it's a great phone!

Hi! I loved the review of the Nokia 7 plus. I was actually thinking of upgrading to either a Nokia 7, 7 plus or Nokia 8. At the moment I own a Nokia 3 (don't judge me) kidding. I've always been a Nokia fan, since back in the day. ( Nokia 3210 still rules) So as far as smartphones go iPhone and Samsung don't impress me. I love the look and features of the Nokia 7 plus. My favourite part is the battery life. That's really important to me. With the Nokia 3, I have to charge it, twice a day after heavy usage, and it takes forever to fully charge. So for me I may purchase the Nokia 7 plus. 📱🤘

Great video. Thorough and straight to the point. I love this phone as a daily driver because it has great design and materials, and promises high durability. About specs its a great mid ranger that checks all the boxes. And price is reasonable. Thumbs up!

The 6.1 plus is a glass sandwich, has notch and camera is more on a lighter color (means not vivid enough compare to Zeiss). Thats just my opinion basing on reviews.

Watching this on my Nokia 7 plus. I absolutely love this phone. Amazing battery life. Brilliant screen. Great software and updates. Camera is bang average but still, for me, more than fine for my use. USB C quick charge. Good speaker, loud and clear but hardly any bass. Nice design. Brilliant fingerprint sensor. Headphone jack. All for £350. Wow! And mine came with a free Google home mini speaker which itself is worth £40-£50. I LOVE this phone.

Have had this phone now for 2 weeks and it is amazing...coming from a very annoying Xiomi with a heavily modified OS to Android One is the best part.....the camera is great, battery life is awesome, 18:9 screen is very good, was so good to gain USB-C, micro usb was so annoying.......Looks and feels very nice too, doesn't have an indicator led but i like that feature too.....not bothered by poor facial recognition, I just use the fingerprint reader to unlock which it does very quickly.....Very reliable phone and great value too.

Watching on my Nokia 7+ and I'm a huge fan The phone fell on our floor and the floor got dented... Like seriously, the monthly security updates are god sent and with Android pie coming, it's a very good phone ESP for students like us studying mobile app or other IT subject related to android. But sadly this is not a perfect phone It lacks stereo speakers and as you said an amoled display The battery is really awesome but for someone who play heavy games like me a powerbank is a must (fate grand order, grand chase Kakao, honkai impact) are some of the games I play to give you an idea on what's killing my battery But most of my complaints are personal nitpicky things and with the price I can say that I'm very pleased with this purchase

I have this phone since October last year and I can safely say that I never had any problem with it and it's better than many so called "flagships" out there. I also own a mi mix 2s and Nokia 7 plus is much more complete phone with better selfie and better UI and less bugs..

A very pleasant test to watch, you look good on the screen. Some black spots about this Nokia: it does not accept all headphones (impedance problem); the screen sometimes freezes, forcing a restart; the Face Unlock does not work (even since the updates); navigation is painful compared to the navigation gestures offered in other brands (the "gestures"); very poor in settings (compared to Xiaomi or Samsung); very poor in tools already installed (call recorder, recorder, music player, security application for RAM management, etc. Very practical tools found at Xiaomi for example); it is impossible to unlock the bootloader; screen not very bright in full sun (impossible to use the mode "Pro", in photo, in full sun: you can see almost nothing); it is impossible to remove the horrible Nokia jingle when the phone is switched on; no stabilization in 4K; no notification LED. This Nokia 7 Plus, very nice, remains however an excellent smartphone: excellent in photo (and video), makes all games run, very good quality in audio, good battery (and quick charging).

I have a Nokia 7+ phone and I have been very impressed with it. I wanted to get a micro SD card to add extra storage, for videos (from the camera) but I have read that some android phones will not permit storage of images on an SD card. is this the case with Nokia 7+ or is a card Ok to use. Which card is best for video ? The memory size is easy to understand, but there are various other numbers etc on all cards .. I am confused. thanks

The one I got does not support 2 sims so just make sure of that when you buy it. It still supports a SD card so don't panic. This is for people in South Africa. It is an amazing phone for the price. The camera is actually not that bad in low light (personal opinion). The selfie camera is also very good. Overall very fast and reliable phone.
