That version menu on the fake E71 is so wrong. It shows the version 100.07.76, which is the first ever version of the firmware for the Nokia E71. If the year of the version was 2010, that would be version 410.21.010, 500.21.009 or 501.21.001 of the firmware (unless you count version 400.21.11 for RM-493 which was a Chinese version without Wi-fi or 3G). One more thing, the fake E71 doesn't run Symbian at all!

The clone uses mediatek dual sim operating system, some of them have analog tv like e71 tv, the clones are better for recording audio somehow because the low end nokias use bad amr format, on the clone you can choose between AMR AWB and WAV and you can record radio and tv (for the ones that have it, for tv audio recording they use microphone as input for some reason...) Overrall they are worse on daily use and are cheaper quality obviously, they are still better than the knockoffs of today that reuse parts from 2013, smoorez makes a lot of videos about them

Yeah, oddly enough, they don't make those clones like they used to. The Goophone Y5 is from what I gather the closest thing them counterfeiters got to replicating an iPhone model, down to the parts used apart from the logic board and OS used. Mayiandjay did a demo video showing an iPhone 4S LCD working on a Goophone Y5, and he also noticed that the metal frame is apparently cross-compatible. Most clones these days use the same shitty MT6580, and are only superficially identical with vastly different internals compared to the real deal.

@@blakegriplingph phones in general might be all the same today, so china doesn't have to copy design anymore since samsung copies apple phones since 2009 and now companies like huawei,oppo,xiaomi are doing it
