No one can say that this crazy ass virtuosity, nice harmonies, lick in the middle of it, and other fun and creative parts of improvisation are bad, this is a fantastic improvisation no doubts, but still 70-80% of it is music which has no relation to the melody of Nokia tune itself, so can we really talk about *improvisation on a theme* here? Because if you listen something like Bach's fugue you'll hear repetitions of the same melody (theme) all over the fugue, while here it was repeated in the beginning and in the end, and then for example melody on 0:17 (g# a b d) kind of catches your attention, and still is in no way related to nokia tune, same with melody on 0:24, (f# g a d), same with (really nice) melody on 0:48, they simply fit in the sense of style, but again, how is this an *improvisation* on a *nokia tune*? I can't say that you should expect a FUGUE when you see the "Nokia Tune Improvisation" title, but still what can we call this if it's not an improvisation on a theme? Like what other title would fit? And what is a "real" "improvisation on a theme" then? Tbh I have no clear idea, Jesus Molina is still a beast of a musician and pianist though

100% agree with you. The improvisation completely slaps, it's fun, virtuosic and very satisfying, but... it isn't an improvisation on the Nokia tune. And there's nothing wrong with that, the only problem is with *calling* it an improvisation on the Nokia tune. But regardless, still an awesome improvisation.
