It’s been 4yrs using Nokia 5.1+ ❤ and at that time hmd Global was making decent budget oriented phones whether it be Nokia 7plus or 8.1 but after that nothing is going right for them . Pricing and specs makes Nokia x30 a shit .They need to learn from Motorola how to make a decent phones considering Indian market which is highly competitive.

True Bro! Replying to you from my Nokia 8.1. 8.1... a classic device from Nokia. Even today it is working smoothly on Android 11. It's stock camera is even decent by today's standards. If I install GCam then it elevates it's camera performance to the next level. SD 710 can even run Android 12 but sad policy regarding Android updates. After 8.1 not a single great device from Nokia. Die hard nostalgic Nokia fans like us are left with nothing.

Even a Nokia fan wouldn't buy this device. Nothing about this device, except probably the build quality, screams good old Nokia. Back in the day, Nokia actually meant great build at a lower price and value for money, that's why it was a success in India and all over the world. The classic Nokia we knew always had a distinctive design language whereas this phone is the example of a run of the mill generic design. If this phone is actually built out of recycled materials, then it should cost even less. The box they pack it in takes away the premium nature of the price slot.

I haven't seen a phone like this in a long time. Nokia always has the best surprises(shocks)! This happens when a brand is not at all concerned about the competition or pockets of the consumer. Recycling and all is appreciated, but even manufacturing this phone has a carbon footprint of its own. Don't produce any phones instead, leave commercial space and go totally green! 💚 Nokia doesn't seem to be concerned about business in India anyways.

Nokia is targeting the older audience who don't know much about tech, and would buy a product because of brand value, so that is kind of cheating the consumers in my opinion, and Nokia usually goes for the offline market for selling their products, so if they can push this bs device to an unlucky individual who favours brand value and does not keep on top of tech they might get cheated into buying this device. Sad to see the state of Nokia these days.

Most older audience don't even bother buying mobile worth of 50k. So I think it's only for those who want Nokia phones anyway despite its price & value. Which is sad because that number of people is very low. Don't know why Nokia is doing this. They aren't only cheating the buyers but they are putting the final nail to the coffin of the survivability of the brand.

@@faizalav9164 Apple products are priced so highly because Apple has monopoly over iOS, Apple silicon etc which they won't provide other companies to use. But Apple never sells a subpar device that is priced that high. Nokia is using off the shelf components which other companies also use, which are subpar for the price and selling the device with "sentimental value" in their mind, which is cheating or misleading the consumer.

Bro, Google pixel phone with look and finish not great but, I love Nokia because of durability and battery life. While apple phones cost like laptop price and google phones like Chromebook price so, whether you buy any other phone it solely depends on you how to handle them. I can use my same phone for 3-5 years. Whereas I see many people change phones every second year

3 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates is useless since the phone is already so underpowered with a sd695 that 3 years from now, most apps and games will anyways lag on it. If they intended people to use their phone for 3+ years, they would have given a processor like sd778 or sd870. But the update thing is only a gimmick, in reality they do not want you to use your phone for so long cause else how will they make money without selling new phones to customers.

Nokia management smokes weed and then decide the pricing of their phones. In case of X30, they were both drunk and drugged. To me they still think it is 2006-2007. HMD Mobile needs to get highly competitive if they even want to exist in the smartphone space.

Using Nokia 7+ and 9PV, though decent performance throughout these 5 years with 7+, but this price for a such kind of low on specs device is not okay... They are playing like Apple, but they're not. Pricing is what that matters in Indian market, and they missed that crucial point. The device, keeping in mind Nokia brand name, should not be more than 30k, max 35k.

I was getting the same-spec phone as Nokia 7+ at 15k, but I paid 26k for it. It's just name game. I kept this price keeping in mind the brand name.

But since I use my phones without much performance for a very long time and have some affection for Nokia brand, I was considering this. I tell u why they are bundling a charger with this device, in US it costs around $399 which is roughly 33000 INR. in India, it costs 50 grand. A huge 17 grand more from it's US affiliate. Bundling a 1000Rs charger won't cost much to the company but will do a great news that it's bundling a charger for Indian market. For sustainability, anyone can buy a used premium brand device for this price or at even less. So where's the sustainability point.? Nokia is going HTC way. Fall of NOKIA has begun. Again.
