Terrific value for money this machine mate. It just feels so good in the hand when searching. Menu layout, and build quality is so user friendly . Need a bit of time on some nice medieval ploughed land soon. 👍 The tripple score would be an interesting test as I have heard some good things within the detecting community. Catch up soon.

I love my legend. The majority of the time, it's pretty damp soil in the UK. If I want a nice, easy run, I whack mine on M3 with sensitivity set as high as possible until the churping gets too bad. It makes it a great pick up and go preset. You don't have to fiddle with the base field/pasture settings too much. A little tweaking for ground conditions, and you're good to go. I've collected some nice finds with the Multi 3. It's nice and quiet, but when it does ping something, it's usually something worthwhile, and iron is very noticeable. The second you pinged 20 and I heard that tone, I knew it was big iron. Usually get that tone on large agricultural iron bits, sheered bolts, snapped plough blades, and chain, oh, and good ole faithful horse shoes. It will high chirp at the edges of the coil and grunt under the centre.

I use the legend, along with xp deus 2 all quest models enz .. I like the legend a lot .. I didn't update the legend because it's feels good right now. Sometimes a update doesn't make things better, but just difrend. Jou should also try the tripple score once it will surprise you. Greets from Holland

I have 2 legends complete with the accupoint absolutely love them especially with the 1.17 version software. Detected since the late 80s in UK and this is a great machine in my opinion

Thanks Gary for doing a quick video about the Nokta Legend. Where I detect in high natural iron/magnetite mineralization, the Legend does really well especially with the later software updates that added iron filtering choices, depth enhancements and saltwater beach improvements. It is everything that Nokta claims it to be. Great for general coins and jewelry on land and beach, great for underwater with no extra attachments needed, great for relic hunting even in its earlier software versions as you demonstrated and to top it off it is a world class gold prospecting detector using its gold prospecting mode. I do all of those types of detecting and have been a Legend owner since it was released. Also owned a Deus and owned a Deus 2 but said goodbye to it....just too many places where I detect that Deus 2 was not my first or even second choice. I still own the ORX with HF elliptical coil and it is also a world class gold prospecting detector that I use a lot. I also own and heavily use a Manticore. The Legend is super versatile, has an incredible set of adjustable features and gets the job done where ever I use it, effortlessly.

If XPs premier in house field tester says a machine that is not made by XP is ok, then we can be confident in that machine. I hope people paid attention to Gary's reference regarding correct gain setting. Fools who whack the gain up too high, are simply not going to reap the full potential of any machine, especially amongst Fe. Lowest gain you can get away with, melded with lower disc setting creates harmony. Ive always thought of it AS tuning a transistor radio in, to say, Radio Luxembourg. Praps try it and praps some sense will be revealed. Cheers Gary. Your word has always been good for me.

I actually wrote nokta recently, i told them i have a simplex plus, legend, vanquish 540 and a deus 1, i told them if the new flagship model dosnt have discrimination like the deus machines, i may not consider it, its the reason i use my deus 1 a lot more in most park settings But i love my legend, its probably the best bang for your buck, best value machine

Good video . I have 2 legends one Deus 1 and a ML 900 and my legend and Deus are my go to . The new 1.17 software up date is really good and stopped a lot of the chatter and seem to increase VDI accuracy . I still love my older Deus 1 . The Deus 1 and Legend keep the 900 in the closet .

Nokta legend user. Your sensitivty was quite low and I always use mine at around 24 -25 in M2 and its stable with no interference, if there is then drop it till its stable so you could have probebly got more out of it. 1.17 is the latest version and its the best yet imo. Ignore all the beast mode malarky and its a great detector for sure.

Ran one for a season, couple years back. For the price it did well. Kinda heavy, even the latest cf version. Bombproof in the water, hundreds of hours. Not the best id #’s though, pretty bouncy, especially deeper items, would change radically when investigating/digging. Switched to a D2 after, then a manticore, now a nox 900 for main machine.

Great machine amazing value and has all the bells and whistles if you could wish for. Definitely not the best machine for a beginner. But in the right hands it’s a match for anything on the market. Coupled with Nokta’s customer service you can’t really go wrong.

After I updated my XP deus II I was pretty upset XP changed the tones on the general program. I had to start all over learning the sounds. If there is one program they should have kept their fingers of, it should have been that one. I almost traded it in for a Minelab equinox… So no, don’t update when you feel comfortable with your machine is my opinion.
