About me…. I’m normally hitting the parks or the beach with one of the many detectors I use for metal detecting the beach and fields. Metal Detecting can be fun and at the same time a nightmare due to the way the beach is always shifting, but if you hit it on a good day... BOOM! could be GOLD could be SILVER! Incredible. You can use these videos as a kind of online education but they’re really not! Oh and make sure you’re detecting is legal.

Metal Detecting is a good way of chilling out, its a good bit of therapy, fresh air, long walks. Its also a bit like those unboxing videos you see on youtube because even though you have an idea of what's buried below your feel you're never really sure. I've been Detecting with Deep Digger Dan during his digging the coast 365, that was fun. I used his XP Deus... Very light. I started out using the Garrett Ace 250 and then added a Nel Tornado coil. After that I started using a Nokta Makro Kruzer and some how managed to find so much more on land I thought had been detected to death. Silver coins, WWII badges and bullets and down the beach I've even found GOLD and Silver Rings. In my latest video I've finally found a Roman Coin and A Saxon Strap End. Hey there, awkward question: I 3D printed myself a miniature metal detector and im not too sure where to put it. Ive put garrett keyrings which I also 3d printed on my stuff, any ideas?

Put the machines in the bin,,but your 3d stuff you should take care of,,just don't buy Garrett machines,,,p.s. as they own ,now all of the magical company Whites,,I hope they start making the best of the whitesachines,,not shite Chinese stuff but proper whites with their name on it ,,I will buy them,,,XLT,,Mxt,,etc

I've never found anything good in the rocks as they shift alot on a beach with sand. The good stuff are always in front of gravel patches. Coins and jewelry always end up in the front or side of gravel patches in large quantities because the rocks stop stuff from moving forward.

Back in the late 70s I was detecting on my local beach at a rare low tide when I came across another detectorist who had a beach hut, he was detecting in the gutter, part of the beach that sloped until flat wet sand, (normally underwater), his detector was an old c-scope 770D, (same as mine), a spade, and a bucket, in his bucket was several hard black mud blobs, he broke one open to reveal a silver coin, he told me that the gutter was the best place to search, I decided to join him, and my first signal was a gold plated face pack dated 1922, the mud was quite smelly. I never managed to time that low tide after that. Super videos and gripping channel :-)
