Holly cow! The Legend is only $10 more than the Double Score? I’m sticking with my Legend since it has same options plus some & I’ve already got almost all the coils for it (really want that LG30). If they aren’t able to fix my battery issue on the Legend I’ll have to figure something out. I always have to take my external battery pack with me if I want to hunt for more than a couple hours. My Simplex + I could hunt all week with it. Well depending, but I think I just got a dud battery. Grounds going to be froze here shortly so I’ll get it sent in. I’m really wanting that new Accupoint PP. You think it’s worth it?

it's heavy and unbalanced the carbon fiber shaft feels cheap and the clamps do not work well if you put pressure on coil when standing it will slide down... 28 yrs detecting otherwise ok detector

Great explanations of the criteria relating to the intrinsic variations found in these three SMF Nokta machines Mike. Legend with it's plethora of disc and tonal settings tops the lot. Plus, it's five single frequencies makes it invaluable. On my roman/medieval sites, 20 kHz and 40 kHz single frequencies are more preferable, for me, over simultanious multi. Nokta put those single frequencies in Legend for good reason😉. Great testing.

Nice demo I think I'm going to have to get the double score as a backup to my legend and maybe have someone go with me occasionally, I mostly hunt parks, old homes sites, and wooded areas I don't live near any oceans or large beaches so I think the double score would do well even without an update for my area. I been in the hobby around 20 years and have just recently retired so I got plenty of free time to enjoy the hobby even more so do you think this would be a good compliment to my legend which it's not going anywhere I got it when the first batch came to the states and so far no speaker issues (fingers crossed) and I'm very happy with it.

Quite impressive for a, dare I say, cheaper machine. Really nothing cheap about it. Nokta did an excellent job on that double score. Of note, I also have the Deus II and just as some folks have stated from time to time, I'm getting to the point where I no longer look at the target ID number but rather go by sound only. That would eliminate the guessing game of TID vs sound. But I know everybody has their tailored way to detect.

Is the TID of Score Machine to its maximum depth still stable?

In clean ground its pretty good. Like all machines it gets bouncy when minerals, iron, bits of trash are in the ground. All depends on your site.

I think that most people watching your videos can see the value and importance of the iron filter and recovery speeds on the double score versus the score. But what about the double score versus the legend? Is the legend right now worth the roughly $85 more than the double score? On paper you're getting more single frequencies and right now you're getting free headphones. But the legend is much more complicated getting to those settings that are already preset on the double score right out of the box, and you have not one but really two settings you have to manipulate on the legend to get what's already preset on the double score when you turn it on. A lot of people will be attracted to the simplicity of this feature. And when the double score can unmask as good as the Deus basically by just turning the machine on with one simple filter setting for $1,000 less? That's very impressive to say the least.

I hear ya about the simplicity of the Double Score and I can see people going that route because of it. The single selectable frequencies and multiple tone options would be the reason i would go with the Legend between the two.

@@IffySignals I just got off the phone with an engineer and he told me that the engineering for the multi- frequency machines is more inline with Nuclear physics, let that sink in. He also told me that the Oscillator will only show two frequency when in fact it is way more complicated then what an Oscillator will show. I'll keep with BBS Tech talking Mine lab Sovereign tech that actually does shot 17 frequency one on a long wave and 8 shorter upon shorter burst and takes 2 reading to make it 16 and went into lots of ground configuration after the long burst, above my pay grade. So I stand corrected that in fact these machines called Multi-frequency may in fact be shooting more then what an Oscillator shows. So now I can keep my big mouth shut until I get my Nuclear Engineer Degree which in fact will never happen because I lack that kind of math skill set, 3 tries in college to pass statistics and could not pass it today.

Xterra pro does better in depth and separation than the Score but the Double Score does better than the Xterra Pro.
