(Rant) I hate this bs that MLB and NFL has been doing to promote our sports in other countries in the regular season. I am also frustrated with the exclusive games they've been doing too. The first thing I thought prior to each game when watching the Knicks/76ers playoffs was were we going to get a fair shake officiating wise. Also makes me nervous if we get to the World Series to only play the Yankees. We all know how much the MLB lobbys for them. They are the MLBs biggest mmarket. Im tired of politics affecting the outcome in games.

As much of a downer as it was, the loss to Arizona in last year's NLCS may have been a good thing. The Phils are certainly playing with a huge chip on their shoulders...the bad taste that left has lit a fire that can only be extinguished by winning a championship. This team is dominating in all phases of the game and they have a shot at being the best team in franchise history...at the very least, record wise...I will put our lineup, starting staff, bench, and bullpen up against anyone...let's all enjoy every minute of this. GO PHILLIES!!!

The Brewers are vastly overrated , when they don't have Peralta going NL Central Cubs are the best team, clearly injuries limited time for Bellinger and Suzuki and Steele have plagued them a bit , still they are my fav to win the NL this yr , or the Braves who's pitching has really come around , Phillies are a quiet offense wout Bohm and Realmuto , and Stott putting out for them , Schwarber , Harper , Casty u know what u get , X Homer's and not many hits , tho Schwarber has vastly improved this aspect ., Dahl isn't the answer in Left in my humble opinion.

Soto has the talent like Dominguez, and they both need to get their command and control better. Mason Miller is still a guy worth trying to get, even if those other two get their act together. He would instantly make the Phillies bullpen the best in MLB.

You must be too young to remember Steve Carlton. His designated catcher was Tim McCarver who was the Phillies backup catcher at that time. Sometimes the rapport between a pitcher and catcher can be better in some pairings than others - that doesn’t mean that a backup player is better than the starter.

@@stevebabiak6997 I do remember Carlton/McCarver and have to admit that Stubbs has shown some improvement. However, as the other broadcaster said, since JT has played so many more innings with Nola, it is not surprising that their "combined" ERA is slightly higher. There is no way Stubbs is gonna play when JT is rested and healthy.
