Nah he's just a regular human being with feelings. I hate it when people try to label themselves or other people as "True Gamers" because there's no such thing. Just because you play games all day and own a bunch of gaming merch, statues etc that doesn't make you a true gamer... For people that don't know. Nolan and Troy had a falling out after their playthrough of The Last of Us. Idk if they exact reason is out there but from I heard the way they teased eachother on the show was slowly becoming actual animosity. Mainly because Nolan struggles more with games and Troy kept making more spiteful jokes about it. Like I said it's what I've heard, I could be wrong, and only they really know what happened

Rumour was that Troy wanted to do more podcast like content with guests, while Nolan wanted to keep doing the normal gaming + conversation content. So Troy left the show. At the same time, the Covid era started and Nolan + the crew weren't able to maintain the same quality of content of previous seasons. So the show started falling off. Then Nolan stopped making constant appearances on the show as well. So the crew decided to slowly rebrand into what is now known as Couch Soup. The crew now do their own trailer reactions and LPs. Troy and Nolan were on bad terms for a while too (apparently there was some burnout from hagning out too often) but they did say they would patch things up again in the future. However it's been 3 years and they've made zero public appearances together AFAIK. Hopefully they're all good now but who knows

Knowing Troy as a person just from listening to things he says and what he writes on social media is clearly the case with him. Also the guy is kind of full of himself where as Nolan is more down to earth and humble and doesn’t care about cracking some jokes in good fun.
