@Nolan, the webinar that Alejandro’s offering has expired. For those of us newbie who has zero presence on YT but wanting to sell online course with group membership, what’s your suggestion? Thank you for this interview 🙏👏🙌👍

hey Nolan, i watched the intro of this video (up until 1: 08) about 20x and analyzed the structure to use as a template (under construction) for my own (future) podcasts. QUESTION: could you give us more data / feedback on this intro, like framework, how to use the sound effects, what to shoot prior or after the actual podcast, etc.. Mainly workflow for this intro. Thanks 😉 ps. what font are you using for the intro captions? 0:00 you dont need… 0:08 this is alejandro.. (show arrow) 0:23 more highlights / ending with : my advice to everyone is… 0:53 Nolan starts to talk (recorded afterwards!) - here stops the captions !!!! - 1:08 actual podcast starts : hello Alejandro ! > no more Broll or sound effects ! but still do the alternating full screens/split screens!

The cutting off the guy saying the really interesting thing is a nice trick. I first saw it on "diary of a ceo" I wonder if he got it from there or came up with it independently-either way clever strategy.

Hello! It feels like everyone is trying to sell courses now. It would be great to also hear advice on how small creators could start to sell items/goods, which could appeal to a wider audience than those who might be willing to pay for a course. Some of us cannot fit a course within our niche, or may not be willing to do it for many different reasons (how it comes across to the audience, etc). Thank you!!
@alejandroreyescom2 ай бұрын
these are great questions. items and goods? what are you meaning here? like merch or bracelets and things? and regarding the "how it comes across to the audience" -- this is a question that comes up a lot. whether you sell ANYTHING. people don't like being sold to but love to buy... which is fascinating in itself. so i think if you aren't overly promoting and there's NO value and connection with an audience... I've seen those people fizzle out over time. happy to answer any questions you have.

Some life advice: NEVER give all your money to try and stop your wife from leaving you, that is probably the worst thing you can do. If your wife wants to leave, let her, and work on your insecurities so you do not NEED her, period.

Exactly! Have self-respect and don't make ANY person into a god (or goddess) that you put on a pedestal as if you can't live without them. Put YOURSELF first. For the meaning of this, read the book "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Robert Glover.

This sounds like great advice, but the content creators and other pros in my niche bash creators who sell mentoring services and courses because "you can get it for free all over the internet". Some people, powerful and respected people in my field say people who sell mentoring & coaching services are scammers. How do I combat this? Should I do it anyways? How can I sell something I know when the people who sell what they know are labeled "leeches" since my field offers almost all information for free. Any tips and advice would be beneficial.
@alejandroreyescom2 ай бұрын
Who’s saying this? Are there scammers, absolutely. Will YOU one? I’d assume your answer is no. You’re gonna serve people so well that they’re gonna go tell all their family and friends about you. And to answer can you get all the answers online, YES. But pulling it all together inside of a course with mentoring and community is powerful. I would gladly pay the right people to help guide me so i don’t make mistakes along the way. It’s been my shortcut to success and transformation. Hope this makes sense and is helpful. Any follow up questions?
@TheWillingLife2 ай бұрын
I think that is just part of the game. I researched Ali Abdaal's Part Time KZbin Academy on Reddit and he has thousand of happy users and folks active in the community, but also tons of people calling him a "Scammer" and "Everything is available for free" etc. I purchased the course and couldn't be happier with it. The community is awesome and people having real success. Focus on the positive and ignore the haters (as hard as it can be).

I almost refused to do this interview because of the lighting. I said, “Nolan, no one will ever watch your videos because of your LIGHTING… lighting is sooooooo important. The content does not matter whatsoever. If you have good lighting, people will scientifically get 1957% more value from it when lighting is perfect. Like the lighting in Heaven. Perfect.” Source: NASA somewhere
