KZbin rewards a lot of lower quality junk is the short answer. It’s all about ad and viewtime maximization. Leave more comments and likes and it’ll help these guys out cuz it drives the algo to push it out. Longer format is also harder bc YT wants to see viewers watch the whole thing so that’s why you see a lot of 7-8 min long videos in the bigger channels.

@@UNCbasketball610 I'm saying this as a big NLU fan that watches every premiere and listens to 90% of podcasts, so don't take this as overly critical because the guys are on a winning formula. They can come across that they think they are smarter than you and know better. There are some political things that slip in. Getting the 'in jokes' requires going back a bit which people don't have time so they don't find as funny. They could criticise your fave player more than other golf media outlets. 20+ min vids aren't your thing. Again, I rate NLU above everyone but I can see why they don't have mass appeal yet.
